About Woodhall Country Park Lodges

Set in tranquil woodland with views across three fishing lakes, these luxury lodges are surrounded by wildlife, cycling and nature trails. The Lincolnshire countryside is beautiful and Skegness, Mablethorpe and Cleethorpes are all within easy reach. Woodhall Spa has two golf courses, supermarkets and a variety of delis, takeaways, restaurants and pubs.

As well as coarse fishing, you can hire bikes and take a ride past beautiful streams and hills - there are plenty of opportunities to spot wildlife as birds, badgers, bats and deer are plentiful. Relax in your own outdoor hot tub, or pop to the Kinema in the Woods at Woodhall Spa, a lovely old-fashioned cinema. Nearby Jubilee Park has an outdoor pool.

Lakeside 3 is a light, airy and spacious modern lodge with lake views. It accommodates up to six people and has a master double bedroom with ensuite and two twins (or one twin and one double). There's a family bathroom with overhead shower, an open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area and doors that lead out onto decking with a barbecue and outdoor hot tub.

You could spend a summer's evening canoeing on the River Witham with the friendly crew from Boston Canoe Club, or go riding at Brookhouse Farm Riding School in Louth.

CLAIRE - Jul 2024
"Lovely lodge like home from home"
Verified Guest - Mar 2024
"The lodge is looked after well and there was no issues, we had a week there and a few more kitchen essentials would be good, ie, whisk, and a few extra serving dishes and extra cutlery for serving, would really help."
Angela - Feb 2024
"Fabulous holiday break. Thoroughly enjoyed staying in this lodge. The lodge was lovely, it was really clean and had all the essentials we needed. The hot tub was amazing after we had been out walking lots of miles. Someone came to check the hot tub each day. When we first arrived there was a problem with the heating system and straight away someone came to check on the boiler and had it fixed. The staff were very lovely and extremely friendly. It was lovely to be beside the Lake even though it was frozen! We love Woodhall Spa and this is an ideal location to enjoy the lovely village. From here you can get a bus into Lincoln, travel by car to the coast and walk the Viking Way to Horncastle - nice long walk 12 miles return. We will definitely go back to Woodhall Country Park - its a lovely place to go."
Sharon - Feb 2024

"Had a great new year (2023 into 2024) with friends . The lodge had everything we needed. It was clean, comfortable, hot tub was awesome even on a rainy day, it was actually very refreshing with raining your face. Great spot to go and visit the local village that has an amazing Italian restaurant. Food was fab.The area is beautiful and lots of walks, its very flat so not too strenuous.Loved our stay"

"Booked the lake view premier lodge for over Christmas paid abit more to have a nice lodgearrived at the park given the the key to lodge 6 got to the lodge not the lodge I had paid for this was just a box standard lodge no sunken hot tub or kingside beds as described in the holiday I had actually purchased.went to reception immediately to be told it was hoseasons fault and to get in touch with them directly which I then did.Hoseasons checked my booking to clarify I was booked onto the lodge I had paid for.Hoseasons rang the park to be told we had been given and upgrade which we clearly had not!emailed the park while away and was told they was forwarding my complaint onto the management team.No response on check out we spoke to the park manager who asked for photos and he would look into the matter.on returning home emailed my information across.Again no response so I emailed again received an email from the park manager saying he was looking into the mix up we are now over a week from returning and Ive had no correspondence from the park since!Utterly frustrated and dissatisfied poor customer service totally missold my holiday"

Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"Our favourite lodge. Home from home! Highest quality and comfortable. Hot tub amazing. Lake view wonderful. Fishing was marvellous!"
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"Nice clean site with very helpful staff, lodge was ok a few small issues the main one its advertised with a freezer but it only has an ice box in the top of the fridge. Which did cause some problems we had our weeks shopping we had done before hand. There was a big dirty mark on our bedding but we just changed it from the other bed, also it has a small area at the back of the lodge for doing bbqs but this was a bit over grown, the lawnmower could not get around the back for the furniture which is covered in green mould. On the good side it does have nice furniture on the front deck which is comfortable. The lodge overall is nice and has Wi-Fi which was a nice surprise."
Stephen - Nov 2023

Elaine - Jul 2020
"Looking to go back but can't find a vacancy. Not surprised!"
Julie - Jul 2020
"Brilliant place to go for a relaxing break"
Sally - Jul 2020
"Superb lodge, my only suggestion would be a smart TV as you get in most premium lodges these days and an improvement on the WiFi service.
Been many times here before and not had a problem but got stung for over £50 this time. After paying for 4 devices for the week it would only let me use 1 so had to buy another plan and the same thing happened.
In the end had to pay for 4 seperate Wi-Fi plans which cost a fortune.
Tried ringing reception several times but no-one ever answered the phone.
When you take kids away you need WiFi to keep them happy but we should never have had to pay the extortionate amount we did.
Oh, and there was a dirty great slug in the main bed so had to wash the bedding.
Other than that, a great break away."
Michael - Jul 2020
"1st visit and won't be our last. Lodge immaculate with lovely big rooms. Lovely to have the covered decking to escape the sun while relaxing in the hot tub. Staff all extremely helpful and always smiling. The whole site is spotless and walking into Woodhall Spa is lovely either by the pavement or though the woods where it was lovely to stop for a cake at Tea in the woods. Plenty walks nearby which was great for our dog."
Julie - Aug 2022
"Lovely lodge, very clean and modern. Site itself very tidy and quiet - just what was needed for a relaxing weekend."
Sharon - Jul 2022

Attractions Near Woodhall Country Park Lodges

Here are some of the activities and experiences you can enjoy on your visit to Woodhall Country Park Lodges. If you discover a worthy inclusion to this list on your hot tub break, please let us know and we'll add it so that other visitors can enjoy it too.
Rushmoor Country Park - GU10 1ET
about 18 Miles
Located in Louth in Lincolnshire this is an ideal attraction when you want to get out in the fresh air and explore. There are many animals to see including ponies and piglets which the little ones love.  There are also some amazing birds from hawks and falcons to owls.  Most aspects of this attraction are included in the admission cost and as well as wandering around you get to hold and feed the animals too.  A real highlight are the micro pigs which are just like real pigs but in miniature.  Fully grown they are around the size of a spaniel!  If you get hungry then you can take your own picnic to the picnic areas or head for the tea room selling delicious food and children's meals too.
Natureland Seal Sanctuary - PE25 1DB
about 23 Miles
Awarded the Lincolnshire Family Attraction of the Year award in recent years this fun day out is recommended. You can see seals and penguins, as well as other animals in the popular pets corner.  Feeding time for the seals and penguins is the real highlight of the day. Entertainment, education and conservation are the main aims of this attraction. Natureland's work with abandoned baby seals has become known worldwide and it's carefully researched rearing and treatment program is now used by many other rescue centres.
Pleasure Island - DN35 0PL
about 27 Miles
Wow this is an amazing family theme park and you will probably need the full day to experience it all.  From thrilling rides to family shows, kids of all ages are catered for.  Some of the most popular rides include the Obliterator and The Pendulus, not forgetting the Hypoblaster.   Family shows are entertaining such as the African Acrobat Show which is back by popular demand.  Entrance tickets are good value and if you book online you will receive a discount. To save even more money if you live locally or are visiting the area for a few weeks you could buy a season ticket for around £50 which will allow you entry for the whole season.
The Jungle Zoo - NR31 9EY
about 27 Miles
Centred around a Tropical House in an amazing jungle like setting this is a really unique attraction that will appeal to families.  In the Cleethorpes area of Lincolnshire it's easy to get to and offers a fun yet educational experience.  Referred to as the number one attraction in the area highlights include capuchin monkeys, meerkats, ring tailed lemur and for the children African pygmy goats.  The tropical house features Red Eared and other Terrapins from North America and goldfish amongst other things.  We think The Jungle Zoo represents excellent value for money too.  We recommend a whole day to explore this attraction and ensure you get to see all of the animals resident there.
Normanby Hall Country Park - DN15 9HU
about 37 Miles
Normanby Hall Country Park has a fantastically tranquil location Set in the 300 acres of Normanby Hall estate offering a relaxing choice for a family day out. The stunning grounds are abundant with wildlife as well as beautiful flora and fauna and there is no better place for a summer picnic. There is also plenty of open space for children to run around. The Deer park is sure to be a big hit with the children with herds of fallow deer to spot.
The Deep - HU1 4DP
about 39 Miles
Easily accessible from our Yorkshire Dales lodge parks is The Deep! An award-winning 'submarium', attraction, which is home to over 3500 fish from around the globe. Visitors can a stroll through Europe's deepest viewing tunnel and take a thrilling a glass lift ride through the 10m deep tank. The Deep is also home to the world's largest exhibition, featuring weird animals from the depths combined with slime! Educational talks and events take place daily so visitors can learn about the conservation projects which the centre is involved in. There is also a fantastic restaurant over looking some of the displays and a souvenir shop. Family tickets are priced at just £32.00.
