The Warrens at Foxtail Reviews

"All great facilities."
Jennifer - Apr 2024
"Amazing lodge. One of the best Ive stayed in. Bedrooms are big, the beds are full size and very comfortable. The hot tub was a great size and easily fit 6 people. Loved the little finishing touches and extra such as a basket of blankets. Would definitely stay again."
Verified Guest - Mar 2024
"Had a lovely time at Foxtail.Cabins are very comfortable, clean, spacious & tastefully furnished.Ideally situated for exploring North Wales.Lovely owners & staff. We loved it there & would definitely recommend."
Verified Guest - Mar 2024
"Really love this place, it is home away from home but much nicer! The decor and quality of the lodge is fantastic and has everything you need. The hotub is squeaky clean and a great temperature, and we enjoy sitting in it listening to the rustling of the trees and the birds. The beds are comfortable and the furniture and appliances are all great."
Rebecca Allen - Mar 2024
"Had another fantastic weekend at The Warrens at Foxtails. Was greeted with a smile upon check-in. The hosts are warm and welcoming. The lodges are all High Spec and great value. Plenty of walking routes and the hot tub is well needed after a long walk. Thanks again."
Daniel - Mar 2024
"Fantastic stay only thing would have liked a bigger sofa to get comy on overall loved it"
Gillian - Mar 2024
"I booked this long weekend away for my Husbands 30th Birthday. The lodge was absolutely stunning, decorated and furnished to a really high quality you can tell much thought has gone into them. The master bedroom bed was huge and was super nice. We asked for a cot bed for our baby and was built and ready for us on arrival, the whole lodge was clean and smelt lovely. The staff couldnt be more welcoming, they were helpful and nothing was too much trouble, I emailed prior to arrival and responses were super fast and polite and made the whole weekend so lovely and relaxed. If I had to give one Con about the lodge it was that it didnt feel very private as people walking by could see into the lodge and the hot tub area, there is shrubbery and as these grow it will create privacy but while they are still fairly small other guests did tend to be nosey. I have already been recommending the foxtails to my friends and family and I will definitely be returning. Thankyou for a lovely weekend."
Reanne - Feb 2024
"Well equipped lodge with hot tub. High spec and very clean. Great pub opposite and Chirk 20 minute walk along the canal path. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway."
Verified Guest - Feb 2024
"Immaculate place .Very warm aswell ????"
Sheila - Jan 2024
"Our third time back at Foxtail Holiday Park and we absolutely love it. Lots of stunning walks close by and only a 20 minute drive from beautiful Llangollen. Amazing to see a bar has been developed on the park but a shame it is only open at weekends as we always stay Monday-Friday so miss the opportunity to experience it. The Poachers pub opposite the holiday park was also closed for refurbishments during our most recent stay and even though this is completely out of Foxtail Holiday Parks control we wouldve appreciated being made aware of this as its the only pub in walking distance. Regardless of this absolutely brilliant stay and we will be back a fourth time."
Marc - Jan 2024
"As a group of females in a family, we are regular visitors to Foxtails as its the perfect place to spend quality time together and we always enjoy ourselves. The lodges are clean and well equipped. The location is ideal and the staff are friendly and welcoming and will go that little extra to help. The hot tubs are wonderful and the addition of an on-site bar has been a real treat. Weve already booked again for March!"
Victoria - Jan 2024
"Beautiful Lodge has everything you need. Staff extremely helpful and cant do enough for you. Will definitely be back."
Joanne - Dec 2023
"What a beautiful stay. Firstly we were greeted with a warm welcome and were shown where we would be staying. As soon as we entered we were blown away by the decor and furnishings on the inside. We could tell no expense had been spared. There was a thoughtful letter addressed to us with contact information and WiFi details etc.
There was even a bottle of Prosecco waiting for us in the wine chiller.

The bedrooms were very spacious with loads of towels for showering and also separate towels for the hot tub. Speaking of the hot tub, it was amazing.

An overall fantastic stay and we will definitely be returning at some point to stay again. Recommend to anyone who wants a peaceful and quiet get away."
Phoebe - Jan 1970
"Had a nice Monday to Friday break with the family..hot tub was great, in it twice a day and some nice walks especially over the Chirk aqueduct along the canals.. recommend.."
Jason - Aug 2022
"We had a fantastic weekend stay at Foxtails. The lodges were clean, well equipped and beautifully furnished. Even though we hired a lodge that allows Pets (despite not having one ourselves), there was no trace, smell or sign of any animals having been there before us. The hot tub was a bonus and the location perfect, having a large garden centre (with other retailers and a cafe in store) and a hotel and a pub within walking distance for drinks/food and with an M&S food outlet at the nearby fuel station, even eating in was a nice treat. Mandy & Steve are both efficient and friendly and are available should you need to reach them. All of these things and good access to nearby towns, makes Foxtails the ideal place to kick off your shoes and sit back in the sun with a glass of wine and enjoy some time with family or friends. We look forward to our next visit."
Victoria - Jul 2022
"Lodge and facilities were exceptional, the park is small and very well kept. Would recommend if looking for a relaxing get away."
Matthew - Jul 2022
"Had a great break. Everything was good at lodge ??"
Jasvit - Jul 2022
"Excellent site and excellent lodge only downside was traffic noise from busy road nearby"
Alan - Jul 2022
"Foxtails is a lovely quiet site, with very welcoming hosts. It’s well situated just off the A5. Just a few minute walk takes you to the canal towpaths for Chirk and Llangollen aquaducts. Very peaceful area. Very dog friendly."
Tracey - Jul 2022
"Excellent lodge in every way , a little noisy near the busy road. Pity the hotel next door was only cooking for its hotel customers and the Poachers was hit and miss when they were cooking but hope to visit it again and for a longer stay."
Janet - Jul 2022
"Beautiful Lodge in a quite location with freindly staff........"
Ian - Jun 2022
"The park is very easy to find and very clean. It’s next to a Dobbies Garden Centre which has a Sainsburys inside. Chirk itself is only a few minutes up the road."
Sandra - Jun 2022
"Fantastic lodge had pretty much everything we needed. Lovely and quiet even with the A5 road behind. Yes you get the odd bit of noise but certainly no problem for us. They had thought of pretty much everything including hand wash, shampoos and soap, the only thing missing was a clothes rack for drying, which I was told is on order. Bottle of prosecco and some tea, coffee and biscuits were provided which was a lovely addition. Staff were super helpful."
Sadie - Jun 2022
"Everything I have to say about our stay was positive. Extremely friendly greeting and was fully informed out our lodge and hot tub. The finer touches only made it more special, chilled prosecco, chocs, toiletries in both bathrooms, Equipped with hairdryers, cleaning stuff tea and coffee. All rooms had smart TV's. Hot tub was a perfect place to relax throughout our stay it had a private feel to it under a canopy to enjoy in all weathers. Plenty of towels. Everything was so clean neat and tidy. Local places to get food m&s food, Sainsbury's in Dobbies next door. Local takeaway in Chirk town centre just a 3 min drive. Our long weekend exceeded all expectations. We really didn't want to give the keys back. Thank you for making our stay so special and for going the extra mile with the extra information we needed for our son beforehand."
Helina - Jun 2022
"We had a lovely time. Lodge has everything you need STAFF excellent would recommend The Warren's at Foxtails"
Arthur - May 2022
"We had a superb 4 night break in a lodge with a hot tub at the Warrens at Foxtails. The greeting from the staff at arrival and subsequent meetings were very friendly. The lodge was spotlessly clean and a welcome pack which included prosecco and chocolates was very well received.I would not hesitate to recommend Foxtails Holiday Park."
