About Ream Hills Holiday Park

Just four miles from Blackpool and with beautiful lakeside views, Ream Hills Holiday Park offers comfortable lodge accommodation. You can even stay in a professionally converted 1982 Lynx helicopter! Gorgeous landscapes, lovely towns and beaches and the thrills and spills of Blackpool Pleasure Beach all combine to make this a family holiday to remember!

As well as The Greedy Goose café, there are plenty of places to eat and drink in Weeton. Directly adjacent is the Blackpool Wakepark where you can try out wakeboarding, stand-up paddle boarding and open water swimming with a fully trained instructor. The beaches at Lytham St Anne's are quiet and sandy, perfect for relaxing.

We love the Zulu 676 helicopter which has been converted into the quirkiest of places to stay! It sleeps up to four people - two in a custom made double bunk in the tail and two in a twin pull-out bunk in the living area. It has fancy LED lighting, a mini-fridge and microwave, plus a flat screen TV. There's even a large verandah with garden table and chairs.  For beautiful lodges with hot tubs then opt for the Lake View 4 or the Lake View 6.  We also love the Tower View 4 Lodge which is a real log lodge with decking, hot tub and lovely views of the lake.

Head to Blackpool to see the annual illuminations, complete with lasers, neon and strobe lights - or enjoy the water slides, lazy river and the wave machine at Sandcastle Water Park.

Ream Hills Holiday Park Reviews

"Apart from no tea towels oven gloves and plastic glasses I would strongly recommend sunset view lodge. Very spacious great batnroom and bed was a clod o sleep on."
Verified Guest - Mar 2024
"Beautifully clean lodge. Quiet peacefull site . Loved the hot tub. Great access to Blackpool and the motorway. We have already booked again"
Marie - Feb 2024
"Beautiful site just a shame the lodges are not very clean, when we arrived there was an awful smell in the fridge, I cleaned this out as it was gut churning. Unfortunately it didnt make any difference, we just tried not to use it unless really necessary as the smell was so bad. Everywere was thick of dust and cobwebs so I dont think the lodge had been cleaned before we arrived. Other than this it was a lovely lodge and the location was great for getting into blackpool. There was a hot tub but we didnt ge any use from it was there was no shelter over. Other lodges weve stayed in theyve had a shelter over and you can go in during all seasons. My partner did brave one morning but was only it a couple of mins and it started bucketing down. Great site and ideal location but probably wouldnt stay again as the smell in that fridge is still haunting me. Even grabbing something from the fridge you could smell it on your hands and had to wash them immediately it was the most awful smell"

"Great break away at a fab location"
Sharon - Jan 2024
"I only have 1 gripe to be honest and its to do with having no type of shelter over the hot tub.. wet days like we had over Xmas was absolutely terrible.. only got chance to use it 3 times.. the weather was appalling.. and unfortunately didnt get use out of the hot tub which was the 2nd reason we booked this lodge.. needs a nice strong wooden shelter/roof building over that hot tub one thatll cope with those terrible winds and one thatll let guests use it in wet weather!"
Siobhaun - Jan 2024
"Lovely lodge and very spacious. Staff friendly and welcoming. We arrived late Friday night so just unpacked and chilled out. Noticed there was an awful smell from the en-suite like drains, not that much of a big issue but wasnt pleasant! The next morning after breakfast we decided to use the hot tub only to find it half full. Called reception who came straight out to fill it but was told someone would come out to look at it at 3pm as they thought there may be a leak, nobody came and nobody called to let us know that they wouldnt be coming. Hot tub was full around 3.30pm but was hot enough to get in, by the time it was we were past it! Total let down as we booked to have a relaxing chilled weekend but instead just sat in a caravan. The lodge wasnt the cleanest, the table had what looked like dried marshmallow around it, big wet stain on sofa, and cobwebs by the fridge and light shades full of dead flies.Such a shame as it looked lovely. We booked for 3 days but left after 2. Not sure Id visit here again or recommend unfortunately. Hoseasons wasnt much help either."

St Winefride's Well in Flintshire is described at one of the 7 wonders of Wales and is shrouded in mystery and intrigue. Legend has it that the well first erupted at the spot where Caradog cut off the nuns head with his sword. The shrine was then erected in her memory in the first decade of the sixteenth century and remains one of the holiest places in Wales. The stunning temple and well attract visitors from all over the world. Water can be drawn from the spring basin within the crypt and is thought to be lucky.
