Mouse Manor Reviews

Tracey - Sep 2024
We have just returned home from a wonderful weeks holiday at Mouse Manor. The setting is perfection. The property has everything you could want. The area is ideal for visiting the stunning countryside of North Yorkshire and has many fine eateries. I dont think it can be topped. We did have to contact the owner Tom about an issue with the power, it Read moreturned out to be an area outage. I have to thank him for responding very quickly and then followed up to make sure we were okay. Book again. Hide
Kelli-jo - Jul 2024
Fabulous week in a beautiful self contained cottage, hot tub, sauna and pool table stunning views and privacy you needed, you are only a 10 minute drive away from leyburn, but all roads from the cottage are gorgeous country lanes and beautiful scenery, will most definitely return
Sharon - Jun 2024
Great stay in a superb property in excellent location. Superb views and great having hot tub and sauna. Kitchen has everything you would want and quality furniture makes it feel luxury. Only a small strip of grass which was ok for our small dog but plenty of places to walk. An enjoyable and relaxing holiday
Emily - Mar 2024
A lovely barn stay in a beautiful part of the world. The property was furnished to a high standard and was a very relaxing place to be.
Stephanie - Mar 2024
Highly recommend this place for peace and quiet. Loved the area. Perfect for dog walking and welcoming pubs.
Alison - Jan 2024
A lovely property in a great location - we were away for rest and recuperation so didnt want to do much driving, but still lots to see in the vicinity. The cottage is very well equipped, which was great as we like to cook when away, and everything was very clean. Beds extremely comfortable and quality towels. If you have dogs, there is only a smallRead moreish strip of grass outside, but the lane is quiet enough to walk along during the day, and loads of nice walks, especially by the river. Hide
Andrea - Jan 2024
An absolutely beautiful cottage/barn. We couldnt ask for anything better. Celebrated husbands 50th here just the 4 of us and the dog! The sauna and pool table were an absolute hit, we spent hours on the pool table with the kids. Lovely villages near by but didnt need to leave the cottage it had everything we needed!
Dipak - Oct 2023
Fabulous cottage. Spacious and very comfortable.
Ali - Oct 2023
A good property in a fabulous location. We were lucky with the weather and had a great holiday.
Chris - Sep 2023
The cottage was fabulous! Lovely views, really well equipped and touches of luxury. Cushions for the sun beds would have been good - yes, we had seven days of sun!! Electric car charging point was a game changer and very much appreciated. We did struggle with the TV but eventually managed to find terrestrial channels on i player/itvx etc
Michael - Aug 2023
5 star rating for a wonderful property in a wonderful location. Really quiet, beautiful place, tastefully decorated. Owners have thought of virtually everything. Missing the hot tub, pool table, sauna and bath so big it has its own tide :-) Easily the best place we've stayed anywhere in the UK. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for these days. Wo uld I go here again - absolutely. Judging by the guestbook, so would everyone else who's stayed here. Well done to the owners, great place.
Karen - Aug 2023
The property was amazing. Very well equipped and had amazing views. The hamper on arrival was such a lovely touch. The pool table got alot of use In the evenings by our 11 year old and kept him entertained. 5 stars all the way. I would highly recommend a stay here, you will not be disappointed.
Mark - Apr 2023
Fabulous location and really enjoyed our week in the dales. The faulty hot tub and heating of the cottage touch the gloss slightly off what was a good break in the dales.
Julie - Jan 2023
Lovely place, very well equipped. Cosy and relaxing - just what was needed. Some great walks and a whole lot of nothing.
Elaine - Dec 2022
Fantastic property - really clean, modern and well equipped. Perfect week in a perfect location - we will definitely book again.
Gregory - May 2022
As per above
Adele - Apr 2022
Mouse Manor was absolutely fantastic, we really enjoyed the uninterrupted views across the dale. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch and the cottage contained many extras that made it home from home. We really enjoyed open plan living and made great use of the pool table in the evenings.
Geoff - Mar 2022
Great property in which to experience the North Yorkshire dales. Everything provided with the private use of a hot tub as the icing on the cake after a days walking.
John - Feb 2022
Brilliant place for any kind of groups - Couples, Friends, family etc. The cottage and location is perfect and has everything you would need.
Karen - Nov 2021
Wonderful relaxing stay in a lovely cottage!
emma jayne - Nov 2021
One of the best holiday homes weve ever stayed in. So well equipped and designed huge bed and smart tv and the sauna and hot tub a bonus and ideal after walking along the many footpaths directly from the cottage. Views were amazing in every weather from the lounge windows. We were recommended the Wensleydale Heifer for Sunday lunch which was a high light. The open plan kitchen and lounge great. Everything 5 star!!
Danielle - Oct 2021
Amazing property and facilities. Perfect views over looking the countryside. Would definitely stay again. A little piece of heaven.
Linda - Oct 2021
Fantastic little hidden gem, exceptionally clean and very comfortable, the hot tub and sauna were great for relaxing in after being out walking all day. The cottage has everything needed for a self catering holiday and the welcome pack provided was much appreciated, the views are wonderful, location perfect and very peaceful, it is the perfect base for exploring. The owners have done a brilliant job with this little gem and have thought of everything, can definitely highly recommend.
Susan - Sep 2021
Mouse manor is a great find. Location is beautiful and very easy to visit lots of the Dales from here. Loved everything about it, hot tub was well used and enjoyed. We were blessed with great weather so sat out on the very luxurious sofas with our morning coffees. Very well equipped cottage with big fridge freezer and washer dryer in the store/util ity room. Nice welcome pack cute wooden mouse on the whicker basket and goodies nicely presented and branded. Highly recommended.

This is a recommended day out for families with young children visiting the Bedale area of Yorkshire.  Visit the farm and receive a warm welcome as well as a guided tour.  You will have the chance to bottle feed the lambs, bath a pig and handle some of the smaller animals.  Kids will love the big sandpit and the outdoor play area. There is also a cafe and indoor play area for when the weather is not on your side.

Situated in the Ripon area of North Yorkshire this popular theme park makes a fantastic day out for the whole family.  The more daring will love the big and thrilling rides such as Raptor Attack, The Ultimate and Trauma Tower.  For the little ones there are some excellent attractions such as Flying Camels, Dodgems and a Magic Wheel.  Toddlers will like the Dragon Boats and the Lightwater Express amongst other things. There are over 40 rides and attractions in total and we think this is excellent value for money too.  If you book your tickets in advance online you can save even more money and beat the queues.

This is an outstanding world heritage site located close to Ripon in the North Yorkshire area. Located in the Milnthorpe area of Cumbria we love this local attraction.  With an eclectic mix of fascinating wildlife and hands on displays this centre is educational as well as fun.  You can wander around at leisure admiring the exhibits which range from chameleons to computers. Some of the most threatened species are kept at the park as part if international breeding programmes.  Check out their website for the latest opening times and admission costs which are great value for money.  There are discounts for pre-booked parties of 12 or more.
