Didier - Jun 2024
"This is a review for the lodge as we were upgraded when we got there. Spacious 2 bedrooms (main bedroom with ensuite bathroom), bathroom, lounge/kitchen, patio and entrance (ideal when you come back muddy and wet). Very comfortable, great view onto the river, patio with table and chairs, parking space next to the lodge."
Sandrine - Jun 2024
"Caravan was clean & modern.,had all you needed, comfortable beds, good shower, big TV good WiFiGood site if you want a quite peaceful holiday"
Verified Guest - May 2024
"We recently stayed at Loch Awe Caravan Park as a family of four (2 adults, 2 kids) and had a fantastic experience. The caravan was spotlessly clean, with a stylish interior that felt cozy and inviting. It was well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and we appreciated the spacious layout. The parks location was idealclose enough to Oban for day trips, yet secluded enough to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Loch Awe and the surrounding hills. The standout aspect of our stay was the exceptional service. When the lock on our caravan door broke, the staff responded promptly and fixed it without any fuss. Their friendliness and professionalism made us feel valued, and their quick response ensured our holiday wasn't interrupted. Overall, Loch Awe Caravan Park offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and stunning views. We would definitely recommend it to other families, and we can't wait to stay there again"
Emma - Apr 2024
"A little small for our large built family, but overall it was very comfortable. The park was relatively quiet on our visit, but still plenty to do out and about"

"We had a good time .lf the weather was a bit better it would be a great holiday. The park could do with a fair sized dining area. No issues, would recommend."

Linda - Jul 2020
"Had a great few days in Loch Awe Caravan Park. Very relaxing having hot tub."
Lesley - Jul 2020
"Quite new caravans, well equipped with plenty space. 2 bathrooms are great for families.
There were few bits of furniture I had to clean slightly before we used it but all in all really tidy place.
Unfortunately our caravan had no WiFi which meant no Netflix on our tv. I phoned and was told the problem will be sorted in 5 min but that never happened. We were not bothered about it too much so not a huge deal."
Shimmie - Jul 2020
"Perfect place to holiday as a couple with friends or family in a beautiful setting"

Margaret - Mar 2020

"Loch Awe holiday park is a lovely place to stay , even though it rained the whole 5 days we were there . It is far enough out of towns to have a relaxing countryside break but close enough for shopping ,meals out and tourist attractions in oban . Plenty things to do if you look and the reception gave us brochures of local attractions which were extremely helpful , would definatly go back ."
Lyndsey - Feb 2020

Caroline - Sep 2019
"Great weekend,thanks"
Heather - Jul 2019
"The caravan has been upgraded since last year to make them even better. They have added french doors that open up onto decking which is great. Lets in plenty of natural light and brings the outside in. The living room is also really big so they're plenty of room to move about, even in a family of 4. The beds have also been upgraded and they were incredibly comfy as were the pillows. The shower wasn't as powerful as I would have liked but it was warm and clean. There were a few missing utensils and the knifes were not sharp but that's understandable I guess. It certainly didn't hold us back in way."
Pauline - Jul 2019
"A really good holiday ranging from the quietness of the site to busy Oban along with castles and gardens throughout the area."
Geoffrey - Jun 2019
"Wonderful holiday, lovely well kept site, friendly and helpful staff"
Christine - Jun 2019
"Really nice accommodation. The staff were excellent and the park very peaceful. Only downside was no iron in the caravan.
The park is well tended very neat and quiet it is in a lovely location if a little to near the main road.
There is no restaurant/bar on site but there is one within easy walking distance with a 10% discount for Loch Awe residents.
There is a shop and petrol station at the gates of the Park and unusually for these types of places are reasonably priced."
Geoffrey - Jun 2019
"We all had a lovely time, beautiful peaceful place"
Sharon - Aug 2022
"Thoroughly enjoyed our trip! Beds in caravan were a little uncomfortable, but they gave us a wee dog package to keep when we arrived which was so lovely. Oven wasn't working on our first night which meant we couldn't cook our dinner which wasn't ideal, however was fixed the next day. Staff so friendly and my dog loved them! Lovely walks fairly closeby. Closest supermarket is about 30 mins away in oban, but their on site little shop is really handy - even has a petrol station. Would recommend for a short break away!"
Rachael - Jul 2022
"Lovely quiet spot at this well maintained site. 20 min drive to Oban with a hotel serving fabulous food half a mile away."
Therese - Jul 2022
"We had a lovely holiday at loch awe holiday park. Plenty to see and explore near by! Staff where lovely and friendly. Would defo recommend a short trip along the road to Airds bay."
Natalie - Jul 2022
"Beautiful location and the caravan we stayed in was spotlessly clean, staff were very welcoming and friendly with plenty of local information, very dog friendly and the pub/restaurant was only a short walk away along a river path which was also dog friendly and served good value food and drinks, well worth a visit if your in the area"
Charles - Jul 2022

"We stayed here last week and had a lovely time. The staff on sight were very friendly and welcoming. The caravan was really nice and was very clean. It was lovely and quiet. The place is central to lots of places around. Will certainly come again"
Wendy - Jun 2022
"Lovely quiet site ideal for touring the Argyle area. Caravan well equipped and clean. Was a little surprised at the extra charge of 35 pounds for fuel, have always has energy price included in total holiday cost. Is this the norm now?"

"Great location and staff very helpful"
