There is also a sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi for the adults – and a host of other activities to keep you busy.

We love the Oak Premier Lodge 6 which sleeps up to six people. It has been fully interior designed and represents the height of luxury with magnificent views over the Loch Lomond National Park. The lodge has a verandah and outdoor barbecue area with its own private hot tub, a spacious living area and a flat screen TV in all three bedrooms.

Argyllshire and Islands is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where majestic landscapes, spectacular coastal scenery and lochside villages abound. Visitors to the area will love the superb walks and cycle paths. Hunters Quay Reviews

"We had a great time and the caravan was amazing"
Verified Guest - Nov 2024
"Beautiful holiday park, scenery was lovely and very quiet.Travelling with two under 5s though I felt their age group was a bit under represented, apart from the nighttime entertainment and swimming there was not much for them to do on a dreary October week. As one fell under the minimum age for organised activities, did not try to pre-book until the wednesday morning, epic fail as it was all fully booked. To be fair to Hunters Quay, there was a power cut on our second day, the one dry day we had to fully explore on our stay. We went off on a hunt for the playpark to find three swings and nothing else, if I've missed something would love for someone to point it out. The jumping pillows and crazy golf were off due to power cut. The pirate ship was more aimed at older kids say 6 and above. We ended up in Dunoon at the soft play within council facilities down there, would highly recommend for younger kids and not expensive at all compared to some."

"Best caravan ever, it felt like a lodge, beautiful interiors and very comfy beds."
Karen - Oct 2024
"Not very clean. Towels stained. Hadnt been hoovered properly. Stains on radiator and food around skirting. Outside needed a good jet wash. Bin is in the wrong location in the kitchen, so annoying walking round into the dining area each time just to get to the bin."
Verified Guest - Aug 2024
"The lodge and the site in general was clean and tidy. The shop on site was useful. Staff were friendly and helpful. There was everything we needed in the lodge and there was a large Morrisons in Dunoon, just 5 minutes drive away."
Claire - Aug 2024
"Really nice accommodation and very modern with everything needed. Good size rooms and everything required for the kitchen."
Gordon - Aug 2024
"As mentioned previously. It was not clean. It was tidy but not clean. I know it was a dog friendly caravan however, you still expect to be not greeted with stains and a smell of someone else's dog."
David - Aug 2024
"Bathrooms are tired and need work... mouldy surrounds."
Verified Guest - Aug 2024
"Gold caravan; was nice, good facilities, kitchen had everything you could need, even a dishwasher because who really wants to wash up on holiday. One bathroom with a shower, and then an ensuite with a toilet in the main bedroom.Spacious living room and dining table area. Balcony area with table and chairs, with nice views of the mountains and locke."
Verified Guest - Aug 2024
"The Lodge is a great size, the sofa was sagging and whole place could do with refreshing but still clean enough - I loved the secure verandah as it allowed the dog to enjoy sitting out. The views were stunning and hot tub was clean and checked daily and perfect for relaxing in of sn evening."
Karla - Aug 2024
"Caravan spotless but couldn't get WiFi to work."
Grace - Aug 2024
"Great place to chill out just thay could do with upgrading there beds the one we had sunk in the middle wich isn't good if you have a sore back but over all great places for adults and kids plenty to do with swimming, molty gym(wich you have to pay for but is well quipped with machines) forrest walks, outdoor activities and sometimes you see the odd deer walking through the grounds, bar, amusement arcade, crasy golf and a piret ship soft play area. Friendly staff and shop, chip shop papa John pizza shop to."
Amanda - Jul 2024
"The furnishings of our accommodation were of a very high standard. Cleanliness of the 2 swimming pools & changing facilities were excellent, added bonus was the bags they provided for your wet swimming clothes. Food in the on site restaurant was very good , with friendly staff. Excellent location for the ferry & Dunoon . I would definitely recommend this site."
Irene - Jul 2024
"We spent 4 nights in a luxury lodge for my 50th celebrations. We complained on return about the living room area. It was extremely tired with sagging sofas and dirty food stained arm rests. The carpet was also frayed in lots of areas and I had to sweep the lino areas and hoover when we arrived. It was not luxury status. I complained to customer services and Im still awaiting a response to my complaints 4 weeks later."
Verified Guest - Jul 2024
"It was clean and comfortable and it was good that the heating was on a timer happy nothing to complain about."

Verified Guest - Apr 2024
"Nice and clean park , just a shame about park not allowing dogs into complex"
Helen - Mar 2024
"Decking flooded and it needed a right good hoover but no complaints otherwise. Very clean and comfortable"
Verified Guest - Mar 2024
"Mould on the ceilings of the lodge. Left my charger in a locked room, called about it a few hours later and was told it wasnt there, no explanation as to how this could have happened given no one had stayed in the lodge and we left it locked.Had to call 3 times to come to this conclusion. They have removed everything that made it good, the soft play, the characters for kids. Just loads of slot machines now, clearly more interested in making more money from people."
Verified Guest - Dec 2023
"Lodge was lovely and had everything we needed, could do with a bit of attention,(mold growing on the ceiling of the shower room in the on suite )"

"We had a fantastic few days at this site. The family enjoyed the pool, arcade and show arena. The caravan was clean and very comfortable. Staff were friendly on site and helpful. There isn't much in the surrounding area but we intended to have a relaxing week on site anyway. We are considering returning next year."

Yvonne - Aug 2022
"We have been coming to Hunters Quay now for the past 6 years and will be booking again for July 2023! We always have a fantastic time there. Obviously because we have been coming for so long it would be lovely to see some further activities added to the Go Active but honestly the staff are so helpful, the Go Active instructors are just lovely our grandchildren did sand art, wall climbing and archery and the girls were just fantastic. We had booked the premier caravan this year and it was stunning. Look forward to seeing you all again next year!"
Fiona - Aug 2022
"We had a lovely weekend in Hunter’s Quay in Dunoon. Stunning setting and excellent facilities. Our lodge was comfortable and well equipped. Our dog Gus had a lovely welcome when he received a pet welcome pack."
Julie - Jul 2022
"Fantastic park and area, will definitely be going back"
Steven - Jul 2022
"5 stars ?"
Stephen - Jul 2022
"We had such a lovely time at Hunters Quay Holiday Village. Would 100% recommend. Perfect for a short break with the family. There’s so much to do from swimming, outdoor play area, soft play, gym, evening entertainment. It brought us together. Everything there was reasonable priced and the restaurant put out good tasting food. The only downfall was the go active, there wasn’t much activities my children could do together due to their age groups ."
Kimberly - Jul 2022
"Fantastic site and facilities. Ashleigh and Nicole from Go Active we’re fantastic with the kids."
Dawn - Jul 2022
"Already booked to go back"
james - Jul 2022
"Had a great trip. Done the archery with Ewan before we left. He done really well and deserves a mention"
Alan - Jul 2022
"Everything was great my kids loved it, apart from i have allergies to animals. They did clearly state they are a pet friendly resort so i have no issue its just i couldn't enjoy it as much due to my weazing, sneazing and itching. That is the only reason i would not go back however its a fantastic place and highly recommend."
