The location was beautiful, peaceful and the views over the open country side were amazing. The hot tub really is a highlight and a little touch of luxury. We had a fabulous five star stay and will definitely return.

Everything had been carefully thought about. The cottage is well located and is probably the best holiday cottage we have stayed in - and we have stayed in a few! Well laid out lodge l, with everything you need for a break away. Beautifully decorated for Christmas and the lodge was warm and cosy. The outdoor space fenced in for the dog was ideal for the dog to enjoy the break also. A terrific stay and we will be back 100%.

Beautiful, clean, spacious and perfect for the dogs. Garden is totally secure and its within walking distance of St Andrews. Would be absolutely perfect in the summer with the hot tub on the patio. Lovely little touches and everything you need.

Beautiful cosy lodge in great location, perfect for exploring St Andrews and the Fife coastline, or just getting away and relaxing. Hot tub for relaxing in after a busy day out. Well equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer and comfy beds. The utility hallway was ideal for coats and boots, and drying down wet dogs! Extra touches are just lovely, the welcome goodies, fresh flowers and toiletries/ handwash & lotion are all very nice. Owner very friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Brechin Castle Centre - DD9 6RL

So much more than a garden centre this place is ideal for a fun family day out in Angus. The garden centre stocks a huge range of plants, outdoor furniture and gardening equipment and also has a café serving tasty home made meals, cakes and snacks. The site has a large outdoor play area for children an ornamental pond and country park to explore. Halloween and Bonfire night's events are coming up soon. The annual Fireworks Display is really spectacular.

Active Kid Adventure Park is the place to go if you have energetic children and are looking for a fun day out. The site boasts many attractions including a Zip Line, Target Football, Go Karts, Play Areas, Pony Rides and Crazy Golf. There are also some friendly farm animals to meet including a docile Donkey. Family tickets are just £20.00 and season tickets are also available.

Smoo Cave - IV27 4QB

Smoo Cave is a popular attraction which can be enjoyed all year round but visitors should wrap up warm during the winter months. This spectacular limestone sea-cave in Sutherland is the largest in Britain and is simply spectacular. The cave was formed by a burn that runs down into the rear chamber, as well as erosion caused by the sea. Guests can take the path from the car park which runs right through the cave. Boat trips are available in the summer months and are an excellent way to fully appreciate the cave from all angles.
