Drummohr Lodges Reviews

"Overall, the place was decent, but we did notice some dirt behind the beds and cobwebs in a few spots. With the early check-out and late check-in, a bit more time for cleaning would be great."
Emma Clarke - Apr 2024
"We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge. Its super comfy and cosy, though the main door was quite draughty, so some sealing might help. The en suite shower door was tricky when wet, almost got stuck! We used the main bathroom after that, but overall, a lovely place to stay."
Sarah Collins - Mar 2024
"We had a fantastic stay! The lodges were really comfy and felt super cosy. The welcome and dog packs were such a nice touch. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. We stayed in two hot tub lodges as a family and cant wait to return!"

"Our Drummohr Lodges review: We really enjoyed our stay at this cosy bungalow. The garden was lovely, perfect for relaxing and the hot tub was a nice touch. Everything was spotless and peaceful, plus the staff were super helpful. Conveniently close to train and bus stops - we took the bus to Edinburgh and Musselburgh. Well be back!"

"The place was spotless when we got there, which was a great start. The hot tub was checked daily and we found plenty of crockery. When our cooker broke, they responded super quick-within the hour! Plus, a bottle of wine and even washing up stuff waiting for us-really thoughtful touches."

"Fantastic reception from Ian. Really helpful. Thank you"
Peter - Aug 2022
"Lovely quiet campsite, located perfectly for visiting surrounding areas."
Isla - Jul 2022
"Excellent - very helpful staff, the hot tub was checked every day. Furnishings in the lodge were good, comfy beds with lovely cotton bed linen and good pillows, which was great, given the heat we were experiencing. Excellent kitchen facilities and the 2 shower rooms were good as well. Park and Ride to Edinburgh was close by and you have a choice of train (10mins) or bus (60 mins). We would certainly book again."
Jacqui - Jul 2022
"Lovely place very clean and has everything you need for a enjoyable holiday. We would go again."

John - May 2022
"What a fantastic place to stay , the lodge was beautiful it had recently been renovated to a high standard, all the rooms were spacious and the bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms, the kitchen has everything you will need including washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets, tea towels and sanitizer. The hot tub is checked twice a day by the very nice wardens who answer any questions you might have, we were in the hot tub twice a day it was fab.If we were to come back to Scotland i would defiantly come back here."
Louise - May 2022
"We had the most Amazing relaxing holiday. The Campsite was clean and tidy, the staff were helpful and friendly and our Lodge was very luxurious"
Laura - Apr 2022
"The Lodges were being renovated and the one we stayed in was next to be done. With that in mind - the lodge was a good size and clean. There wasn’t any spare kitchen cupboards for food, it was a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. The hot tub was old and not all the jets worked, it was checked 2 x per day for chemicals! There was no Wi-Fi and the phone signal was poor - walk up to next lodge/tent area and it was better. The lodge definitely needed refurbishment, however it was a really nice, well kept and quiet site. Easy to get into Edinburgh and surrounding areas. We would stay again - the refurbished Lodges, we were told, all having new hot tubs fitted!"
Sarah - Apr 2022
"Loverly lodge with all facilities required for a self catering break, recently been refurbished some snagging issues which could do with being addressed. Plenty to do in this area and Edinburgh only a short drive or hop on the bus. Nice restaurants nearby and most will deliver to the park enterance. Would definatly recommend this park as it has the best of both worlds, peace and quiet with the option of a base for a more active break."
Carol - Mar 2022
"Fantastic 4 day break over the new year."
John - Jan 2022
"Great site. Friendly and helpful staff"

Attractions Near Drummohr Lodges

Here are some of the activities and experiences you can enjoy on your visit to Drummohr Lodges. If you discover a worthy inclusion to this list on your hot tub break, please let us know and we'll add it so that other visitors can enjoy it too.
Smoo Cave - IV27 4QB
about 6 Miles
Smoo Cave is a popular attraction which can be enjoyed all year round but visitors should wrap up warm during the winter months.  This spectacular limestone sea-cave in Sutherland is the largest in Britain and is simply spectacular. The cave was formed by a burn that runs down into the rear chamber, as well as erosion caused by the sea. Guests can take the path from the car park which runs right through the cave. Boat trips are available in the summer months and are an excellent way to fully appreciate the cave from all angles.
Kailzie Gardens - EH45 9HT
about 22 Miles
Kailzie Gardens are another popular attraction and are an excellent place for a day out in the summertime. The gardens are a peaceful and colourful place to spend the day with a wide variety of flora and fauna on display. Other attractions here include live viewing of the Tweed Valley ospreys, a Gift Shop where children can pick up a souvenir, a Tearoom serving tasty local produce and home cooked meals, a Children's Corner, Putting Green, and a gorgeous private 2½ mile stretch on the River Tweed where visitors can enjoy Fly Fishing and a Picnic Area.
Conundrum Farm - EX5 3AQ
about 39 Miles
With easy access from the A1 this lovely farm just north of Berwick makes a fantastic family day out.  Follow the farm trail and meet an array of friendly farm animals.  Kids will also enjoy the indoor and outdoor play areas, pet barn and tractor circuit.  The admission fee is excellent value and you will get a free bag of food for the animals and a bag of fish food for the trouts in the fish pond. When you want a bite to eat, the licensed restaurant is the place to go with quality home cooking and a charming location in some of the converted farm buildings.
