Tyndrum Holiday Park Reviews

"The staff were really friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable. The lodge was spotless and thoughtfully designed. Thanks!"

"Really enjoyed our stay, the place was spotless, cosy and staff lovely!"
Emma Clarke - Feb 2025
"We really enjoyed our stay! The pod was small but super cosy, perfect for relaxing. The view from the window and hot tub was gorgeous, especially at night with all the stars. Definitely a place to visit again!"
Olivia - Jan 2025
"Just a heads up if you're thinking of booking the riverside hot tub pod here. We ended up in what they call pod 4, which is actually quite a bit smaller and older than the shiny new one (pod 5) shown on the website. Honestly, its not what we expected at all. The photos and description make it seem like a spacious, modern place, but what we got was cramped and a bit tired-looking. The staff at reception did mention that many guests complain about this mix-up and that pod 4 is quite a different experience from the advertised one. We initially thought wed been given the wrong pod altogether, but they assured us it was correct-just a common issue. Because of the size and age of the pod, it wouldnt have been suitable for us, our dog and two people anyway. Luckily, Hoseason was helpful and managed to get us a lodge at their sister park in Fort William (Ben Nevis), which turned out to be much better. If wed seen photos of the actual pod beforehand, we definitely wouldnt have booked it. Its a real shame because the advertised pod 5 looked lovely and was apparently available. We think they should clearly list this older, smaller pod separately, with proper pictures and maybe a lower rate, so future guests arent disappointed. Just be aware before you book-don't assume youll get the same quality as the newer one!"

"We really enjoyed our stay in the Riverside Pod with the hot tub. The space was surprisingly cosy and perfect for the two of us and our small dog. The little extras like towels, gowns and slippers were a lovely touch. Wed definitely come back again!"

"We had a really lovely stay! The park was beautifully maintained and the setting is just stunning. The little onsite shop and park are handy touches. The pod was spotless and had everything we needed. Wed definitely come back again, for sure!"

Emma - Jan 2024
"The park was really charming and peaceful. We arrived to find an upgrade because of frozen pipes, which was a lovely surprise. The pod and hot tub were fantastic and wed definitely love to visit again sometime. Highly recommend!"

"Great experience, lovely staff, comfy rooms and well definitely return soon!"
Emma Carter - Jan 2024
"We had a lovely time at the holiday park, the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, which really made a difference. The hot tub was definitely a highlight - perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the area. The location is beautiful, right next to the river and close to the West Highl and Way, so its great for walks and enjoying nature. The place was spotlessly clean, which we appreciated. However, we won't be booking a pod again. Honestly, it was way too cramped for two people - looked bigger in the photos but in real life, theres barely enough room to move around. The heater was quite noisy, ticking like a clock and kept us awake; we had to turn it off, but then we woke up freezing. We also had an issue with water - woke up one morning to no water supply and were told we needed to keep the tap running to stop it freezing again, which was pretty annoying. The sofa kept splitting apart when we tried to sleep on it and the small dining table was pretty much unusable because there was just no space. Overall, its the smallest and most cramped holiday home weve stayed in. Definitely stick to a proper lodge next time."
