About Reddivallen Hideaway Hut

Reddivallen Hideaway Hut is a romantic shepherds hut just 1.5 miles south of Boscastle in Cornwall. This beautifully presented glamping retreat sits in an idyllic waterside setting on a remote organic farm. Experience peace and luxury in this stunning Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Step through French doors into a cosy living area with double bed and cosy wood burner (logs included). The compact kitchen has a two-ring hob and fridge so you can make meals easily during your stay. There's an en-suite shower room with WC. Outside you'll find a secluded patio with garden furniture, fire pit and private wood-fired hot tub. Parking for two cars provided.

Head out and explore the magical Tintagel (4 miles, 10 mins) with its famous King Arthur connections. Visit Padstow (22.5 miles, 40 mins), Port Isaac (13 miles, 25 mins) or beautiful Trebarwith Strand beach (5 miles, 15 mins).

Wow, what a lovely spot! The shepherd's hut is super cosy and nicely decorated, with all the essentials for a comfy stay. We arrived to Prosecco, fresh farm eggsand the hot tub fire already going - such a nice touch! The view truly takes your breath away, no exaggeration. It’s the perfect place to unwind and relax. We had such a lovely stay at the Shepherds hut! It’s really well equipped - perfect for a cosy night in with the kettle, cupsand even a bottle of bubbly. Meg the dog was a lovely surprise, coming to say hello on Saturday. The log fire kept us warmand the shower was fantastic. The place was spotlessand the extra blanket and games were a nice touch. We enjoyed meals at Tintagel brewery and Port William - both were great. Definitely recommend!

We stayed here for a special occasion and honestly, it was fantastic. We planned to proposeand she said yes-such a magical spot to do it! The owners were unbelievably friendly and really went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The hot tub took a while to heat up, but they had already sorted it with logs, so it was perfect when we arrived. We’ll definitely be back, no doubt!

We had a fantastic stay! The cosy away hut had everything we could possibly needand the setting was just stunning. Waking up to wildlife sounds at night and farm animal noises during the day was so relaxing. The hosts were really friendly and helpful. Definitely a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle!

The Eden Project is a fantastic local attraction in Cornwall which will appeal to families and couples.  From the moment you step through the entrance it's clear that this is no ordinary attraction.  All under one roof you will find a giant rainforest, Horticulture courses, rock climbing, ice skating and an arts cafe.  Not all of these activities are on at one time, they are staggered throughout the year so check out the website to see what's available when you plan to visit.  Autumn at Eden is very popular with events such as daily apple pressing and Time Changing Tales (story telling with an autumn theme).

This attraction is really unique in that you have the opportunity to gain a rare insight into a working sanctuary.  You can see first hand all of the fantastic work carried out as well as seeing the monkeys themselves.  Other popular areas of this attraction include the Bat Cave and Wildlife Room. the Wildlife Gardens and the kids play area.  There is something for everyone at The Monkey Sanctuary and you can also sponsor and donate if you wish.  The cost to adopt a monkey is from just £2 a month.
