"Lakeside 1 is a lovely very modern lodge with TV in both bedrooms, good size single beds, comfortable double bed with plenty of storage, a fully equipped kitchen, excellent heating and great hot tub. There are some wooden steps up to the lodge. As it is set back from the lake, only a glimpse of the lake can be seen through the trees in winter. The site was very quiet during our visit and is in a quiet location. There are lovely walking around the lake and in the woods. Ideal for those bringing dogs. Staff were friendly and helpful."

"Great location close to bath and longleat. On site signage could be better to help locate your accommodation. The lodge itself was lovely, spacious, overall very comfortable and well equipped. Hot tub lovely. My only complaints are; there should be a dishcloth and a tea towel provided, and the sofas are not great, the seat cushions slope and you cant get them to lie flat."

"The lodge was a disappointment considering that it was meant to be luxury and wasn't cheap. It wasn't clean, it was tired, the blinds were broken, the hot tub wasn't ready to use, the decking was dangerously slippery. The heater in one of the bedrooms didn't work and the fire in the lounge. Don't waste your money as we left after one night."

"This is a single unit rather than a double (I requested with Hoseasons for a lodge, which is a double and was booked in with this one!)Sleeps 6 but you would struggle with 6 adults. Smallest twin bedroom is absolutely tiny. (Suitable for 2 children, but not two adults - the beds fill pretty much the entire space). Dining table only sits 4. Sofa only seats 5 really. (If you had 4 children it would be fine!) It has most things you would need and is fine for 4 adults, but 6 would definitely be a struggle. It was new and clean which was nice and the location within the park was quiet. I can imagine it would be lovely in the summer. Very restricted view of the lake"

Could have done with a few extra little things like more than one dishwasher tablet and bin liner (for 8 people and 3 nights), hand soap in the bathrooms, an extra chopping board. But we had a brilliant weekend and would definitely recommend!"

"Nice modern lodge. Fabulous hot tub, very secluded. Only downside, the saucepans were not clean, there were no oven gloves, or fish slice ( egg flipper) which made cooking a little tricky, if you didnt want eat out every night. Would definitely recommend this park, and Lodges, as we had a very relaxing getaway overall."

"We had a fantastic time, the accommodation was so clean and well looked after, the hot tub checked daily and it was so quiet. I do think this park is undersold as we couldn't fault anything. We had deliveries from local takeaways direct to our lodge, the children did the Tarzan Trial and the walks in the wood with the dog were fantastic. Yes down by the lake there is building work for the new lodges so I agree with previous comments of not wanting to stay in one of the pods currently. We would 100% return."
