"We had such a lovely stay! The place is super cosy and those hedgehog touches really make it special. The hot tub and log burner are fantastic extras. Fingers crossed we get to come back soon-just one thing though, a teapot next time would be great!"

Ellie - Jun 2019
"We really enjoyed our weekend at Hare Lodge. The place was super clean, spacious and comfortable - perfect for a relaxing break. Even though its on a farm in the countryside, its just a quick drive to the coast and Cheddar, which was handy. The hot tub was a lovely bonus and the info pack the owners left with recommendations for pubs and takeaways was really useful. Wed happily stay again!"
James - Jun 2019

"Really enjoyed our stay, the place was peaceful and welcoming. Were definitely planning to return sometime soon!"
George - Apr 2019
"We had a lovely stay at the lodge. The spa bath was spotlessly clean and really relaxing to use. The location was perfect - nestled in a tidy field, just a short walk from the farmhouse but not too close. The rooms were spacious and nicely decorated, making it feel cosy. If you're after a quiet escape, this place ticks all the boxes. Wed definitely come back!"
James - Mar 2019
"We had an awesome weekend with friends and their dog at this place. The lodge is perfect for 5 or 6 people, especially if youve got a pet - plenty of room to unwind by the fire or relax in the hot tub. We loved how close Cheddar Gorge and Weston-super-Mare are; both make for fantastic day trips, only about 20-30 minutes away. The walk through Cheddar Gorge was a highlight, took us around 3 hours at a leisurely pace and offered some stunning views. We also got to enjoy the fire pit and pizza oven - definitely bring some skewers since theres no grill on top. The pizza oven took a bit to cook after a big fire, but it was a fun addition to our stay. Wed definitely return!"
Jamie - Mar 2019
"Great experience, definitely recommend to others."
Rachel - Feb 2019
"We had an amazing stay! The place was spot on, everything we needed was there and it felt so cosy. The location was perfect for exploring and our dog loved the countryside. Honestly, we didnt want to leave at all - well be back soon!"
Emma - Jan 2019
"Really enjoyed the holiday vibes"
Jamie - Dec 2018
"We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage! The little touches, like logs for the fire and milk in the fridge, made it feel so welcoming. The interiors lovely and well-finished and honestly, it was great value for what we paid. Would definitely return!"
Sarah - Dec 2018
"We had such a lovely time staying at Hare Lodge! The lodges are absolutely beautiful and really feel like a home away from home. Everything we needed was there, from the hot tub to the cosy log burner, which made our evenings so relaxing. WiFi was no trouble at all, which was a relief. We were a group of us-my partner, our grown-up daughters and son-in-law-and everyone loved it. The location is perfect for exploring places like Cheddar Gorge and Wells. Were already planning to come back in summer and hopefully stay here again!"
Emily - Nov 2018
"We recently enjoyed a fantastic weekend here with our family of six - including three adults and three teenagers. Our hosts really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable, which we truly appreciated. The lodge itself was spotless and super cosy, perfect for an autumn escape. We loved chilling by the fire, soaking in the hot tub and sitting around the outdoor fire pit in the evening. Getting the fire hot enough to use as a pizza oven was a bit tricky, even after some tips from the hosts, but honestly, it wasnt a big deal since we just used the kitchen oven instead. We did read some reviews about kitchen utensils beforeh and, so we brought some of our own, which worked out fine. The setting is so peaceful, nestled on a farm and it was lovely to enjoy the quiet countryside. The welcome pack had some great suggestions and we had a lovely, windy walk up Crooks Peak before exploring Cheddar. Wed definitely recommend this spot - it really was everything we were hoping for. Just one tiny thing - we think a later check-out time, maybe 11am, would be better, as 10am felt a bit early, but we totally underst and the need for cleaning. Thanks again to our lovely hosts!"
Emma - Nov 2018
"Absolutely loved our stay! The peaceful farm setting was perfect for some much-needed relaxation. Highly recommend."
Emma - Oct 2018
"We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back. Its perfect if youre after a peaceful retreat in the countryside. Totally recommend it!"
James - Sep 2018
"We recently spent a peaceful weekend with our elderly Labrador at this lodge. The place was spotless and cosy, especially with the log fire roaring away. Its perfect for relaxing and exploring the local area. Definitely a spot wed recommend if you're after a chill getaway!"
James - Sep 2018
"Great spot for family, peaceful and private-really relaxing!"

"Great spot for a peaceful break and perfect for exploring nearby sights, we really enjoyed it!"

"A lovely, peaceful few days staying at Hare Lodge. Lodge was nice and clean and well equipped. Nestled into the countryside but only a short drive to Wells, Glastonbury etc. Hosts were very friendly and we had a tour of their farm that my son enjoyed. Would definately hope to go back again in the future."

"This was a well deserved weekend break for 6 best friends who have weathered working through the NHS covid storm. It was beautifully peaceful with pubs a good 50 minute walk away. Beautifully decorated."
Kathryn - Feb 2022
"Lovely property with hot tub. Really feel away from it all . Just 3 lodges on the farm so peaceful. 15 mins to Cheddar Gorge. Be aware no reliable WiFi so not the place for you if that is important"
