Brynteg Country and Leisure Retreat Reviews

"The site at Brynteg is in a beautiful setting. The facilities are really good. We all enjoyed the pool and spa, and my son and daughter in law said the gym was excellent. We had an issue with being allocated the wrong caravan but this has been resolved between Brynteg and Hoseasons on our return. Excellent customer service and quick responses to emails."

"We were in North Wales to climb Snowdon at night. This was an excellent base for us as close to Llanberis and the spa facilities were so good after we finished our charity challenge"

"Poor internet connection even though we paid for it! Expected Better service if we are being charged for it!!!"
Jakki - Nov 2023
"Loved the caravan and the site. I do find having to pay £12 to hire some towels on top of what you have paid a little excessive."
Emma - Nov 2023
"it was an excellent location with all the facilities, will visit there again soon"
Faslan - Nov 2023
"Lovely accommodation, great location and friendly helpful staff on site. Unfortunately we paid for the super-fast Wi-Fi which didnt live up to its name, very patchy and we requested a refund of the one day charge. Furthermore the following day, we bought the 3 day Wi-Fi deal in the hope it was a one-off and once again it was pretty rubbish accessing signal. Also this was over a week ago and we still havent received our initial refund. We should probably have requested refund of the second payment as it is in fact miss-selling and we wouldnt want others to have the same experience without forewarning."

"Excellent Caravan Park and lovely Reception staff, we very much enjoyed our stay. We particularly enjoyed sitting by the lake at the Old Boathouse, it was stunning!"
Laura - Nov 2023
"Excellent and will be back next year."
John - Nov 2023
"We had a lovely relaxing break, I would have happily stayed for longer than the 4 nights that we booked. Our Caravan was very clean and comfortable. Kids loved the play area and pool. Beautiful Mountain Views, very peaceful and picturesque site. I would return :)"

"Had lovely holiday NR to caernarfon quiet site."
Rosemary - Jul 2023
"We had a problem with the mattress on the double bed, very poor quality but when I reported it it was dealt with straight away and a brand new mattress was brought to the caravan to replace the old one."
Pamela - Jun 2023
"Such a lovely caravan sadly let down by site location next to busy Maintenance Yard"

Greenwood Forest Park - LL55 3AD
about 2 Miles
This attraction is really something special and has reached the finals of the "Best Family Day Out" category in the National Tourism Awards for Wales.  It's actually the only attraction in North Wales to be shortlisted for this prestigious award. Located in the Snowdonia region there are many rides and activities including Jungle Boat Adventure, Den Building, Green Dragon Roller Caoster, Treetop Towers and the BareFoot Trail.  Kids of all ages will love it here and we think it's excellent value as well.
Ribride - LL59 5DE
about 3 Miles

An adventure boat company in the heart of Wales. Whether it's adrenaline fueled fun, or a relaxing river tour, you and your family will want to book up with Rib Ride. Ride a 'RIB' boat on the Menai Strait or take a Bear Grylls adventure boat tour. Very highly reviewed on Trip Advisor. Tours for bridges and swells, puffin and seals, castle and islands and more.

Penrhyn Castle - LL57 4HT
about 6 Miles
Penrhyn Castle is a neo-Norman castle is located in the stunning Gwynedd region of Wales. The castle will appeal to those who enjoy sites of historical interest as well as to families looking to enjoy a fun day out. The Castle is in very good condition and guided tours are on offer. Don't miss a look at the grand hall with its exquisite collection of paintings or the Victorian Kitchen which gives amazing insight into the running of the Castle. Other highlights include the Servants Rooms and the one ton slate bed which was originally made for Queen Victoria.
Glasfryn Activity Parc - LL54 5TG
about 15 Miles
Glasfryn Activity Parc is an award winning year round attraction with plenty of facilities to keep the whole family happy. Quad Bikes, Archery, Soft Play and even Wakeboarding can all be enjoyed. The site also has a fantastic farm shop, a café and 10 pin bowing complex.
Great Orme Ancient Mines - LL30 2XG
about 18 Miles
A visit to Great Orme Ancient Mines is offers a fun and educational daytrip for families. The amazing site allows visitors to explore the copper mines which are thought to date back to the Bronze Age but were only discovered in 1987 during a landscaping project. The tours provide an insight into the way of life for miners over 3,500 years ago. A family ticket is just £16.00
Welsh Mountain Zoo - LL28 5UY
about 20 Miles
Located in the North of Wales with a spectacular setting high above Colwyn Bay this is a lovely zoo which makes an excellent family day out.  Highlights include the Chimp Encounter, Penguin Parades, Bear Falls and the Children's Farm.  The setting is perfect for walking around and you can take in the superb scenery, roam the wooded pathways and relax on the grassy slopes.  There are many rare and endangered species to see and learn about including the Snow Leopards and the Red Pandas not to mention the Sumatran Tigers. You can also buy the experience of being a zoo keeper for a day, either for yourself or as a gift.
The Seaquarium - LL30 1BL
about 31 Miles
The Seaquarium in Rhyl is a fantastic choice for a family day trip offering the chance to meet strange and exotic marine life from all around the world. The sea animals here come from the depths of the Amazon, Pacific & Indian Oceans as well as from around UK shores. Slimy Eels, scary Sharks and creepy Piranhas are all there to be seen as well as beautiful and elegant Rays. The site also has a café and a gift shop where children can pick up a souvenir. A ticket for a family of 4 is just £27.00
