Kingfisher Apartments Reviews

"Beautiful apartment, lovely hot tub."
Odette - Nov 2015
"Good holiday great and helpful staff shame it has being sold"
David - Oct 2015
"Overall fantastic place to stay."
Brenda - Aug 2015
"Very well planned apartments. A real bonus having an extra shower room/loo on the lower floor. Very spacious. So nice having a hot tub."
Jane - Aug 2015
"Really enjoyed our holiday, thanks."
Lisa - Jul 2015
"Could not fault the apartment it was clean and had nice furniture."
Kerry - Jul 2015
"Great family holiday loved the hot tub and swimming pool. Staff so helpful and recommend going here to anyone."
Theresa - Jul 2015
"I was really surprised to see how nice these apartments were. The kitchen was lovely and spacious and you did not need to take anything with you as it was all kitted out.

The only thing is there is one local shop near by, so you need to drive into the next town for a supermarket.

We went out on the friday evening to the Fox Pub in Lyng Village and the food and service here was excellent and really worth the visit, but you may be best off booking as it does get busy."
Tracey - Jul 2015
"The accommodation was much bigger than we expected and you could comfortably stay there as a group of 4. The only thing that slightly let the accommodation down was that the sofa's were really small and not overly comfy but apart from that everything else was perfect."
Jacqui - Jul 2015
"great place for a relaxing break"
Carol - Jul 2015
"The only downfall is no phone signal anywhere the bar has wifi but is also very slow so unless your a big drinker you dont want to be stick there all day. Amazing place very friendly. Perfect for escaping the world with no outside contact."
Lucy - Jul 2015
"Lovely apartment, tastefully decorated - a real home from home with the welcome addition of a hot tub and power shower in the second bathroom - bliss."
Lisa - Jun 2015
"Fantastic apartments cannot fault in any way.
Spotless and all as described."
Steve - Jun 2015
"Had a fantastic stay and staff were great. Will definitely return.. Only draw back was swimming pool was out of action for a couple of days. Certainly recommend it !!"
Susie - Jun 2015
"Would not pay full price as not true value for money. Hot tub was nice but un used as dirty and cold all weekend."
Confirmed Guest - May 2015
"The apartment was lovely however there was a few things that I thought could be improved. I was disappointed that our bed was two singles together. If it is advertised as a double then it should be a double. Due to having under floor heating, which was a real treat, there was no where to dry wet towels! Five of us were in the hot tub daily and there wasn't even a towel rail to hang them up. A washing machine was provided which was very useful however the drier function appeared not to work. I also would have liked the hot tub area to be made slightly more private. Ideally if the front area was partly fenced with a walk way in front of this it would have felt more private. During our stay we had other peoples children playing on our BBQ area while we were in the hot tub or watching TV inside. It was quite annoying. Due to no path this area was also used for people to walk to the lakes. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of pots and pans but it would have been nice if a complimentary pack of cloths/washing up liquid had been left. However despite these few complaints the whole weekend was highly enjoyable and we plan to return in the summer with another family :)"

"Fantastic stay in wonderful surroundings. The apartment was a lot bigger than what we were expecting! Wonderfully peaceful and the staff were great. Lots of room for the kids to run around and play. Definitely booking another break here"
Christina - May 2015
"WOW!

I should say that the apartment was a home from home but in fact it was much better!

Everything we needed was there apart from a hairdryer. It was so spacious, modern and clean.

The view were amazing, it was lovely to sit on the balcony having a cuppa and watching the wildlife.

Would definitely recommend and will come here again."
Vivienne - Apr 2015
"Only the non use of wi-fi in each appartment was a let down. Everything else was amazing!"
Liam - Mar 2015
"Fantastic luxury apartment, very spacious. Hot tub was lovely."
Charlotte - Mar 2015
"The only thing I didn't really like was no carpets in the living area , made it very echoey"
Louise - Mar 2015
"fabulous break with a stunning appartment and location"
Jayne - Mar 2015
"Fabulous little retreat. Very relaxing and super perfect."
Rebecca - Feb 2015
"Lovely property . Loved the hot tub"
Laura - Feb 2015
"Overall 10 but some areas could have done with a deeper clean, some woodwork needs a touch up and the bath panel in en suite very shabby/dirty and really let the accommodation down. The size of the apartment is fantastic. Arriving around 8pm in cold weather we expected cold accommodation but it was lovely and cosy - many thanks. WiFi in accommodation would be great as no phone signal at all onsite (EE)."
David - Feb 2015
"Lovely apartment with fabulous views
We will be staying again"
Nicola - Feb 2015
"Very nice apartment - rooms are lovely and big. I would definitely stay again."
Natasha - Feb 2015
"Lovely apartment - more like a house; the bedrooms are huge. We loved the view from the lounge window and the hot tub. It was very quiet whilst we were there but it was January. Not sure how noisy it may get in the summer months though. The apartment contained everything you need and was clean and comfortable. The only very minor annoyance was that the doors all close behind you all the time. Can only assume this is for safety reasons but can be annoying. Will take some door stops with me next time!"

Attractions Near Kingfisher Apartments

Here are some of the activities and experiences you can enjoy on your visit to Kingfisher Apartments. If you discover a worthy inclusion to this list on your hot tub break, please let us know and we'll add it so that other visitors can enjoy it too.
Dinosaur Adventure Park - NR9 5JW
about 2 Miles
This fun family day out has been well planned and we think is certainly worth a visit.  New for 2010 is the PrimEvil at Dinosaur Adventure.  Other fun activities include the Dinosaur Trail, Arachnophobia, the Raptor Races and the adventure play area.  The secret animal garden is also popular.  You can play a role in wildlife conservation and sponsor an animal if you wish.  At the moment if you sign up for their newsletter there is a chance to win a family ticket.
Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens - NR21 0LN
about 10 Miles
if you and your family are interested in nature and wildlife then Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens is the perfect place for a day out. This beautiful area of national parkland is home to a huge range of common and rare birds from sparrows to Red Crowned Cranes and also has a red squirrel enclosure - part of a conservation programme and now home to a family of adorable squirrels. Other activities to enjoy at Pensthorpe include pond dipping and Landrover discovery tours. Pensthorpe also played host to BBC'S Springwatch in 2010.
Melsop Farm Park - NR20 3DT
about 12 Miles
We love this attraction in Scoulton, Norfolk with a great collection of animals.  Children and adults alike have the chance to get hands on with the animals in the special handling areas.  On rainy days there is always the indoor play area for the little ones and when it's time for a bite to eat the cafe on the farm is open all day selling drinks and snacks.  Hot food is available over lunch times.
Sheringham Park - NR26 8TL
about 15 Miles
The National Trust Sheringham Park in Norfolk was designed by Humphry Repton and the book of original designs can still be seen. The park has many attractions including a viewing tower and a gazebo with amazing coastal views, wildlife trails which young children will love and an exhibition barn where visitors can learn the history of the park.
Bewilderwood - NR12 8JW
about 16 Miles
Bewilderwood is a fun day out for the whole family located in the Wroxham area of Norfolk.  This imaginative adventure park has won awards and we think kids especially will love the characters and the magical tree houses. You can even book your ticket online and beat the queues by visiting their website where you can also view video clips of the park. This place is also the setting for the book 'A Boggle at BeWILDerwood', by local children's author Tom Blofeld.  Parents are not left out either as you're encouraged to take part and play alongside your children.
Bishops Boats Seal Trips - NR23 1RY
about 16 Miles
This is a really unique attraction running daily seal watching trips from the middle of March right through to the end of October.  The experienced skippers will lead you out on one of the traditional wooden boats where you will have the chance to see both common and grey seals.  If you love animals then this is one attraction not to be missed! They also do some boat trips combined with guides on dry land such as seal watching combined with a visit to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve, owned by the National Trust.  We think this attraction is excellent value for money as they keep their admission prices low.
Banham Zoo - NR16 2HE
about 19 Miles
This award winning wildlife attraction has much to offer both families and couples looking for a fun and educational day out.  You can discover a whole wild world of animals with over 1000 different animals from around the world. You will probably want to try and spend the whole day here so you don's miss out on anything.  Highlights include the amazing animals presentation, the birds of prey display and the feeding talks, all of which take place at set times of the day.  This attraction is fantastic value for money and highly recommended.  Their latest event is the Snow Leopard Club Naming Auction and there has recently been a baby giraffe born at the zoo.
Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park - NR32 4TZ
about 32 Miles
Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park is an amazing 50 acres area of stunning coastal parkland and is packed with family friendly rides and attractions. This park is an excellent choice for families with children of varied ages as there are a number of small rides for the little ones as well as some adrenaline boosting white knuckle rides for teenagers. As well as rides the site hosts some fantastic shows including the ever popular Sea Lion and Parrot encounters. At Halloween, Christmas and Easter other themed shows can also be enjoyed.  The site also has a good range of places to eat and drink whether you are looking to spend a leisurely hour relaxing with a meal or just grab a quick snack.
Africa Alive - NR33 7TF
about 34 Miles
Africa Alive is one of Suffolk's largest attractions and one of the most popular in the whole of the UK.  The Africa themed park is very unique and gives visitors the chance to see some amazing creatures in a habitat which is as close to nature as possible. The park can be explored by car and on foot and Hyenas and Giraffes are just some of the animals you will encounter as you make your way around the park. Watch out for the lightning fast Cheetahs and keep your eyes peeled to spot the more reclusive creatures. During a day at Africa Alive there will be plenty of shows and educational talks taking place and if the weather turns then the indoor Adventure Play Ground comes in very handy. The site also has a well stocked Gift Shop and a Discovery Centre.
Suffolk Owl Sanctuary - IP28 6HX
about 36 Miles
This amazing owl sanctuary located in the Stowmarket area of Suffolk should be high on your list of places to visit in the area.  The attraction is also a registered charity and carries out important work in the care & rehabilitation of owls from the region.  The sanctuary also raises awareness of owl conservation throughout the UK.  Between April and the end of September there are two superb flying displays each day so you should try and make your visit coincide with one of these displays if you can.
Ickworth House, Park & Gardens - IP29 5QE
about 38 Miles
The National Trust Ickworth House, Park & Gardens is a Beautiful 1800 acre country estate with many attractions including a fantastic adventure playground for the children and a range of nature trails which the whole family will enjoy. The site also has a family friendly cycle route a gift shop and a small café
