Bainbridge Ings Reviews

"Really enjoyed our stay, the shower was lovely and bed comfy."
Claire - Jan 2025
"The lodge was spotlessly clean, really modern and comfy. The views around Hawes are stunning. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We loved it and will definitely return for another mini break! Definitely recommend."
Emma Roberts - Nov 2024
"We absolutely loved the peaceful vibe here. The lodge was stunning, nestled right beside a lovely field with picnic tables and chairs. The hot tubs perfect for unwinding and super private, just what we needed for a chilled getaway!"
Amelia - Sep 2024
"Great place for couples! The hot tub was a real highlight after a long day exploring the countryside. We loved making the most of it!"
James - Jul 2024
"Our Bainbridge Ings review: We really enjoyed our time at Herdwick! The place has a charming vibe and was perfect for relaxing and catching up as a couple. The VIP Pods are super comfy and added a special touch. Already booked again for next year - cant wait to return!"
Alex Morgan - May 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, but WiFi was a bit patchy at times, so plan ahead."
Tom - Apr 2024
"We had a lovely stay at this charming place, nestled in such a peaceful, private spot. The owners were genuinely friendly and always willing to help if needed, but it never felt intrusive. The hot tub was a real highlight after a long day of cycling-so relaxing! Just a heads up, the cottage is right under Stansted's flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us much once we got used to it, but it might be worth considering if youre sensitive to noise. Overall, a really nice getaway!"
Harriet - Apr 2024
"Great spot for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend!"
Simon - Mar 2024
"We had such a lovely stay at this good place! The location is stunning and super private, which was exactly what we needed. The owners were genuinely friendly and always available if we needed anything, but they never intruded on our space. The hot tub was a real treat after a long day of cycling. Just a heads-up, the cottage is right under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us much once we got used to it, but its good to keep in mind if noise is a concern. Overall, a great find!"
Raj - Mar 2024
"We stayed in the Hi-Pod recently and honestly, it was a great find. The size was bigger than we thought, which was a nice surprise and it was spotlessly clean. The decking area with the seating was perfect for relaxing. Since it was just me and my partner, we stuck to the comfy double bed downstairs, as the mezzanine twin beds are a bit tricky with those steep stairs-probably not ideal for little kids. Definitely recommend!"
Jessie - Sep 2023
"Absolutely loved our stay! The place was spotless and the stunning views really made it special. Were already planning our return for next year, cant wait!"
Olivia - Aug 2023
"Overall, we had a decent stay. The location was spot on and the hot tub was a real highlight. The bed wasnt the comfiest and the fridge was pretty small, but still good value!"
Chris - May 2022
"We loved it - super tidy and thoughtfully stocked, couldnt ask for more!"
Harper - May 2022
"Really enjoyed our stay, the hosts made it special!"
Samira - May 2022
"We stayed in this pod for a couple of nights and it was okay overall. It did feel a bit tired, like it could do with a refresh, but it was clean enough. We found it tricky to store our clothes since there werent many places to put them and a few more hooks wouldve helped. The TV placement was a bit poor - its mounted too low to see comfortably from the chairs or bed. On the plus side, it was really peaceful and in a good spot to explore the local area. The price felt a bit steep for the size, especially since check-out was at 9am and we couldnt arrive until late. Still, it served its purpose!"
Emily - May 2022
"We had a fantastic time exploring the Yorkshire Dales!"
Linda - Apr 2022
"The cottage was lovely overall, but the WiFi was quite frustrating. It kept disconnecting or wouldnt load pages properly, which was a bit of a letdown. Apart from that, we really enjoyed our stay!"
Sarah - Apr 2022
"Great experience, would definitely recommend!"
Martin - Apr 2022
"We stayed at this lovely modern lodge and really enjoyed it. The site was spotless and tidy, with plenty of pitches for caravans and campervans. Everything we needed for a comfy holiday was there. Highly recommended!"
David - Mar 2022
"We really enjoyed our stay overall. The hot water in the shower was hit or miss, which was a bit frustrating. A mop wouldve been handy to keep the floor dry after using the hot tub. Still, it was a lovely experience for us."
Charlotte - Feb 2022
"We loved the peaceful setting and stunning views. The location was perfect and the staff couldn't be more helpful or friendly. Highly recommend!"
Oliver - Jan 2022
"We had a lovely time at Ribblehead Lodge over New Year. The views of the hills are stunning and the outdoor decking looks perfect for summer evenings. The lodge is accessible for everyone, making it even better. Wed definitely come back!"
Sam - Jan 2022
"Cozy spot, great for a weekend."
Charlie - Nov 2021
"The place had everything we needed for a chill weekend. Hawes and nearby spots offer loads to explore, definitely worth a visit!"
George - Jul 2020
"Great service, highly recommend"
Jamie - Mar 2020
"Looking forward to it"
Jess - Feb 2020
"Great experience, definitely coming back again!"
Rachel - Jan 2020
"Really worth trying out"
Mark - Oct 2019
"Really enjoyed it, definitely returning"
Lisa - Jun 2019
"We had a lovely four-day stay in the Dales and overall, the place was really nice-spotlessly clean and well stocked. The only bit that was a pain was the tiny sidewalk leading to the bedroom, which was a bit of a squeeze! Also, some footstools in the seating area wouldve been perfect; my legs just hung there. Still, a good trip!"
Clara - Sep 2018
"Loved every second off it."
Joanna - Aug 2022
"The location of the park was ideal, being a 10-15 minute walk from Hawes. The facilities of the accommodation were good for a comfortable self-catering stay, with fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave and 2 electric hobs. It was cosy with a confy bed and the towel rail in the bathroom was great for drying towels and swimming costumes after use with the hot tub (which was fanatstic and nicely private). The staff were particularly friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful 3 nights here and would definitely recommend."
Val - Aug 2022
"Beautiful surroundings if your looking for a peaceful tranquil place to stay with the only sound of sheep Baa’s ?"
Gaynor - Jul 2022
"Lovely lodge and location. We stayed in inglebrough4 it said on the website that they had dishwashers but unfortunately there wasn’t one"
Christine - Jul 2022
"A lovely place hot tub amazing beautiful scenery pubs good and cafes but not a lot to do if you’re not into walking."
Lynda - Jul 2022
"Went here for our honeymoon were greeted as soon as we arrived. The staff were really friendly The lodge was small but ok for the both of us and hot tub was well maintained and red hot deffo will be back on the future"
Vicki - Jul 2022
"We stayed for two nights and it was the perfect little getaway! The staff were extremely helpful in showing us round and showing us how to use the hot tub and were very approachable. The place itself was lovely and clean and the little village was just a short walk away with lovely shops and pubs. Would definitely recommend this place!"
Katie - Jul 2022
"Had a 3-day minimoon after our wedding here, and it was to dream for! What a lovely holiday, gorgeous little holiday home, well equipped, clean, peaceful... And that hot tub! Just unbelievably delightful. And any questions, the lovely staff were always available and helpful. The views around are lovely, and all that one can hear are the cattle and sheep in the distance. There's a short walk to Hawes town, and other many accesses to different country walks. We're so sad it is over, that we are planning our next stay here again this year and it has become one of our favourites."
Isabel - Jul 2022
"Lovely pod and hot tub. Great host. Great location being only 5mins walk to Hawes Town."
Annie - Jul 2022
"Had a fantastic short break could not fault anything"
Andrew - Jul 2022
"Location was perfect Handy little walk to Hawes for cafes, restaurants, pubs and convenience stores Good base location for many different walks and site seeing"
