"We loved this lodge, it has to be one of the best we have ever stayed in. It was spotlessly clean and had everything you could ever want. The owners were just lovely and so helpful and the welcome basket was a kind gesture, especially the sweets for my daughter, how thoughtful.
The hot tub was amazing and was checked every day. The location of the lodge was perfect, we visited Blackpool and the lakes and other various local places.
Overall, we would 100% definitely stay here again, we just loved everything about it."

"The lodge was spotless and equipped to a very high specification. It benefitted from a welcome pack of tea, filter coffee, milk, sugar and chocolates (a nice touch) plus cleaning products including dishwasher tablets. The lodge was light and airy with an excellent unobstructed view of the lake from both the living room and decking. Positioned between the two other lodges on site, we didn't feel overlooked and the large hot tub was nicely situated towards the rear of the property offering a good level of privacy. The only minor niggle was that on occasions we did seem to run out of crockery (small plates), however, we were cooking every night at the lodge."

"Fantastic location and lodge was lovely. We stayed in Moorhen and everything we needed was there waiting for us including tea and coffee after our long journey. The hotel tub was amazing and we went each evening. The owners check the hot tubs twice a day and unlike other places we have stayed they are emptied between each guest and cleaned out.
Only thing I would say is that we had to put the travel cot up in the lounge as it was the only place it would fit which meant that we couldn't watch TV on the evening so maybe a TV in the master bedroom would be helpful.
We will return for another visit."

"The lodges are beautiful and well equipped with everything you could possibly need and more such as a washing machine and dishwasher.
The two owners, Sarah and Ken, were very friendly and helpful and even had a hamper waiting for us on arrival. It was a birthday break and they surprised us with a bottle of bubbly and a card when they found out, which was a nice touch.
We will be staying there again without a doubt, especially with its location - near the Lakes and Dales as well as having a large Tesco store just 5 minutes away by car."
