Bennane Shore Holiday Park Reviews

"Great site in a great location"
Craig - May 2024
"Beautiful and spacious lodge and well equipped. Only negative would be that they told us to use the towels from our accommodation for the pool and when we asked to have them replaced we were told they had a laundry where we could wash them! Shocking for a resort advertised as 5 star."
Fay - Nov 2023
"The lodge it's self was lovely, very clean and had everything you would need. The pool area was lovely too, we used it a couple of times while there. We didn't use the restaurant so can't comment. The only down side was the TV reception, if you wanted to watch anything, was very hit and miss and didn't work at all for a while. We did have someone take a look at it, they couldn't do anything. Said they'd get someone to come and look at it but nobody turned up."
Janet - May 2022
"Enjoyed a weekend stay. Caravan was as expected and we liked having the outdoor verandah area for our dog. Disappointed that there was no sandy beach as advertised, only a rocky one. We were able to go find a sandy beach because we had the car at nearby Girvan. The site was well maintained and check in was quick and easy. The traffic noise from the main road took a bit of getting used to. Overall a very enjoyable stay."
Angela - May 2022
"Definitely will return lovely caravan in a beautiful place"
Julie - May 2022
"We had a few minor issues with the caravan which were dealt with promptly. Can't complain."
Alan - May 2022
"Loved the caravan. Very comfortable stay with modern furniture and decos."
Varuni - Apr 2022
"Ailsa1 lodge, couldn't fault it at all, weekend stay early March, 2-bedroomed, hi-quality, well equipped, well prepared for our arrival, no issues with cleanliness, very comfortable, great view from the the lounge over the sea, (4 x adults & our 10yr old granddaughter) spacious, en-suite in master bedroom, heating used throughout stay as cold outside but lodge was wonderfully warm & easily controllable, showers (2) were hot & powerful, kitchen well equipped, sufficient storage for our needs, bedrooms have good wardrobe space, access to lodge excellent, loved the composite decking would be great to sit out on in warmer weather, able to park 1 x car alongside lodge, highly recommend this lodge, we would definitely book it again."
Pete - Mar 2022

Lorna - Jul 2020
"We only used the restaurant once and it took an hour to get a poached egg, some french toast and a pancake. The food was ok - I expected more and to be a little more local - it didnt make me desperate to return. I was looking for a hearty Scottish breakfast, but was disappointed. Staff were lovely but we decided to eat in the caravan for the rest of the week. Lodge was faultless - comfy and well equipped and spacious."
Iona - Feb 2020

Gordon - Jan 1970
"Location is stunning, caravan was beautiful and the local community very welcoming. Spa is idyllic overlooking the sea. The Bistro food was pretty bland and not worth the money and the noise of lorry's on main road was louder early in morning.

Overall though was a really lovely, relaxing holiday and I would recommend to others."
Nichola - Jan 1970

Paul - Jun 2022
"We had a wonderful stay at Bennane Shore Holiday Park. The location is absolutely amazing with stunning views along the coast and breathtaking sunsets. And, with binoculars, we could see seals every night from the decking of our lodge! The lodge itself - Kintyre - was great. The living area and kitchen was like a proper home from home and the bedrooms were comfortable and spacious too. We could happily have stayed longer than the week we had booked and will definitely visit again. Our daughters (aged 10) loved seal spotting, playing on the private beach and playground and scootering up and down the Park. And it is the perfect base for exploring the surrounding area which has some brilliant family days out. The food at the Bistro was freshly cooked and delicious and the staff were all professional, friendly and helpful. We didn't use the spa facilities - other than the steam room - but enjoyed using the pool every day with our children and everything was spotless. We would definitely recommend this holiday park are already planning our next visit!"
Donna - Jun 2022
"Great break staff so helpful and pleasant location and facilities could not be better"

"Fantastic holiday the only negative was the traffic noise"
Jeanette - May 2022
"Discovered a hidden little gem!"
Julie - May 2022
"One of the best lodges we have stayed in, stunning location by the sea"
