Seal Bay Reviews

"Was worth upgrading to silver just for a bit more space. Duvet wasn't big enough to cover the bed so luckily we could use one from the other bedroom we didn't use."
Nicola - Dec 2024
"Caravan basic but in good order. No room to swing a cat but we knew that would be the case.Smelt of cigarettes on entry so had to buy a diffuser."
Matt - Nov 2024
"We had an amazing week, especially due to Halloween, will be rebooking for next year. Didn't get to do much as my sister was unwell and had trouble walking, as well as looking after 3 kids. The caravan was lovely shame we had to pay for WiFi and the rooms got really cold even though the heating was on and has left a tiny bit of mould on my sons pillow due to lots of condensation."
Christie - Nov 2024
"The caravan was great except the living room pull out bed the mattress or what I guess they calk a mattress was waffer thin an plastic never used it ended up using pillows ect to make it wide enough for to an barley slept for the whole week"
Verified Guest - Oct 2024
"Accommodation was great especially the wet room as my grandson is disabled with limited mobility. Plenty of room, comfy beds and most things you need supplied."
Tracey - Oct 2024
"Bed wasn't too comfy but the rest of the caravan was great."
Laura - Sep 2024
"Good overall basic accommodation that was spotless."
Verified Guest - Sep 2024
"Little storage space for clothes for 2 children in the bedroom, only had 1 small wardrobe. General cleaning of floor could have been better."
Verified Guest - Aug 2024
"Our caravan was spacious, we loved our stay in West Sands. Only problem was the boiler had an error on our last evening so we couldn't have hot showers. It wasn't worth a call out so close to the end of our holiday so we coped without it. Also we could have done with 2 pillows each in the master bedroom. My husband took the cushions from the living room to use.Other than that our caravan was clean & tidy. We enjoyed our stay at West Sands"
Hayley - Aug 2024
"The caravan was very small with no storage at all. We were constantly having to move out of each others way. You had to close one door to open another. I would not stay in such a small caravan again. I had no prior knowledge of how small it was."
Janet - Aug 2024
"We stayed on West Sands last week with 2 adults and 3 children. Caravan was a decent size but not very clean when we arrived (beds had hairs and bits of dirt on the sheets), cutlery and plates had been put away unwashed. In the smaller toilet there was a wooden panel covering the boiler which had a ring on it. The two 3 year olds touched the ring to see what it was and the whole door fell off and cut one of them on the face. It was held up by a tiny magnet- I am sure this could be secured safer. We paid for a few activities and the first one was very good (a Cove show in the club room with a lunch box). The second were the bounce nets which were okay (a little small for 3 year olds but okay. The third was advertised as a pirate & princess adventure in green lawns. We paid £30 for 3 kids. It was awful. 2 of the 3 people leading the adventure looked like they were either still drunk from the previous night or had been smoking more than cigarettes. They kept having private jokes between them and didnt seem to know what to do. The game involved kids walking over a hose pipe pretending to be a snake and jumping through some hoops pretending to be crocodiles. Several kids joined in without paying so there were too many kids of all different ages. No tickets were checked so it was frustrating to we had to pay and most others didnt."
Kelly - Aug 2024
"Fantastic holiday park, has everything you need on site, my children had a great week, and so did us adults, Id 100% recommend this holiday park to all families"
Verified Guest - Aug 2024
"Very nice, clean and well kept"
Verified Guest - Aug 2024
"everything on cove app apart from emergency no if needed. Nowhere to contact rec. on app, when we did need it, had to drive there, and was closed, so ended up going to white horse, and spoke with security which helped us."
June - Aug 2024
"Had a great holiday"
Verified Guest - Aug 2024
"As previously stated the Bronze 2 bed Pet caravan has very small bedrooms. We had to side step to get into bed or shuffle to the end. Not easy for 2 pensioners. Our bed was a small double & a very firm mattress. The second bedroom was really tiny. However the living area was more spacious & the kitchen well equipped. It was supposed to sleep 4-6 but I wouldnt recommend 6 & would say 2 younger children in the twin bedroom. The bathroom was a good size with an excellent shower."
Gillian - Jul 2024
"Sorry but I was disappointed"
Verified Guest - Jul 2024
"Impressive and real Platinum ????"
Andrejus - Jun 2024
"One single mattress was thin and less comfortable than the other."
Verified Guest - Jun 2024
"Holiday and site excellent. Accommodation although clean and well equipped, very small liking to a rabbit hutch."
Michael - May 2024
"Excellent site. Needed more info on entertainment as this wasnt included in our pack on this ocassion meaning we missed the pantomime. Paying extra for golf and soft play didnt seem right and felt it should be included in package."
Emma - May 2024
"Amazing all round holiday every thing was perfect definitely coming again"
Darren - Apr 2024
"We really were looking forward to our break away for Easter. The staff were lovely and the caravan itself was spotless and we could not fault it apart from the fact we paid for a three bedroom caravan due to the fact having our baby with us as well as our older children so we needed to bring a travel cot so presumed the extra bedroom would mean more space and versatility on where I could stay with our baby.Unfortunately the only place to put the travel cot was in the lounge as we had no room to walk around the double bed let alone a cot to the side of us. (It left me confused as you offer for an extra charge to hire a travel cot too so I wonder where you would have placed it if we had hired one direct from you) you were also aware of our babies age as you ask this when we book so would be aware a baby cannot sleep in one of the two additional twin rooms in beds. The pool itself was extremely packed and the changing rooms were dirty, the indoor golf was very misleading from the pictures online as it was much smaller than we imagined. Also as another review has stated the path to the caravan was extremely muddy and wet due to the rain which we know is out of your control but I feel a proper path and not a few patio slabs would be much better to limit the mess that was created. Due to all of this we ended up leaving two days before our holiday was due to finish which was a huge shame."
Verified Guest - Apr 2024
"Best holiday park I have been to yet. So many things to do. Stayed for 4 night and still so much I didn't get to do."
Verified Guest - Apr 2024
"Great holiday park, loads to do and right on the beach. Activities are a bit pricey though"
Verified Guest - Apr 2024
"Caravan ideal ???????? 6 people.Clean on arrival. Had cooker toaster kettle microwave and oven. Had abit of trouble getting in as the door wasn't opening with the phone app, staff helped tho and ok after that. Car space outside caravan. Beds made on arrival. At times hot water in the sink was extremely hot! Highly recommended for a short stay."
Verified Guest - Mar 2024
"As I said on first page"
Michael - Mar 2024
"Site is well kept. Facilities are good but where quite busy, especially the lido. Restaurants are pretty average."
Darren - Aug 2022
"Fabulous location. Easy to get around the site too. Lovely staff and I particularly loved the strawberry in my Prosecco!"
Frances - Jul 2022
"We stayed at West sands resort and we had a really good time. Caravan was very clean and had all we needed in it and was within walking distance to all facilities including beach.the club house and pool are great.the only downside was that all the extra activities on site came at an extra cost and not cheap either, luckily my family just wanted to swim and go on the beach so it was okay."
Stephen - Jul 2022
"Great place, close to the sea, lots of attractions"
Beata - Jul 2022
"Lovely clean, well landscaped camp.Pools were great. There were a number of play areas and plenty of spaces for children to play The sea was calm & warm. Ideal for adult swimming. It is a very pebbly beach with sudden drop when tide is in so may not be great for young children wanting to paddle unless tide is going out or for them to make sandcastles. The camp does have large sand pits for this and the pools are great for all ages. It is spread over a large area so courtesy bus helps cover distances if you don’t want to walk. The walk from main site to the outdoor pool is on a narrow road with no footpath in places and can be dangerously busy with cars squeezing past The toilets at lido pool although clean never smelt fresh but those inside complex were fine. We only had drinks at the quays and breakfast at the lido. The food was really good value and came quickly. We felt the prices were reasonable & staff were helpful. The other people’s meals looked good and portions were excellent. The supermarket was reasonably well stocked & prices ok compared to local supermarket. Would definitely go again."
