Hengar Manor Country Park Reviews

"We had such a relaxing time! The place was perfect for our group of six adults and a nearly three-year-old. Plenty of room for everyone, which was great for sharing meals, playing board games and tackling the holiday puzzle. The pool was a big hit and we appreciated how well it was managed, especially given Covid concerns. The location is spot on for exploring local beaches - honestly, we loved every minute of it!"
Emma - Aug 2020
"Really enjoyed our stay, would definitely come back again!"
Oliver - Aug 2020
"We really enjoyed our stay, though the decking could use a proper clean as it looked a bit neglected. Also, the area behind the curtains near the doors had some cobwebs, which could do with a tidy-up. Overall, a lovely experience but some small details need attention."
Emma - Aug 2020
"Great overall experience"
Martin - Aug 2020
"Our Hengar Manor Country Park review: Honestly, staying in that cottage with the hot tub was a lifesaver after pulling my back on arrival. Such a thoughtful upgrade, really appreciated it! Would definitely return."
Emma - Jul 2020
"We didnt get to try much, so cant really judge the place."
James - Jul 2020
"We had a lovely stay, the cabin was spotless and the views over the lake were simply stunning! Definitely recommend."
Emma - Mar 2020
"Really enjoyed the festive vibe here"
Emma - Dec 2019
"Honestly, this waterside cabin with a hot tub was one of the best getaways we've had in Engl and. Its so cosy and made us feel totally relaxed from the moment we arrived. Everything we needed was right there in the room - no fuss at all. Plus, its within easy walking distance to the reception, bar, restaurant and the car park, which was super handy. We really appreciated the designated parking spots for each cabin; it made things so much easier. The only little gripe was the twin rooms size - its pretty cramped, which might be a problem if youre sharing with adults. For kids, its fine and my friend just used the sofa bed instead, which she said was comfy enough. Overall, a lovely break and wed definitely come back!"
Emma - Oct 2019
"Really enjoyed our stay, would come back."
Emma - Oct 2019
"Beautiful spot, definitely coming back soon!"
Emma - Sep 2019
"Overall, we had a decent stay. The only issue was the mattress on the double bed - it wasnt great for my back, which was a bit annoying since Ive got a back injury. But thats not really the sites fault. Weve already sorted a way to make it more comfy for our next visit at Christmas. No big deal!"
Alex - Sep 2019
"We always enjoy our visits here and this time was no different. My sister stayed in a bungalow the same week and was so impressed shes already planning her next trip. Its our fifth time at Hengar and weve never been disappointed. Thanks everyone!"

Dave - Jul 2022
"We had an excellent wk. Its lovely and quiet and relaxing. Surroundings are lovely and nothing feels rushed.accomodation was brilliant...very clean and well kept. Swimming pool was very good as was the golf pitch and putt. We didnt go fishing but walked and had a look at the lakes and it was so pretty. It's a shame they have got rid of the crazy golf nd I think the childrens play area could be improved as not a lot in there. Overall it was a lovely place to stay."
Caroline - Jul 2022
"It was fantastic! Excellent hidden gem with great facilities and friendly, helpful staff. ??????????"
Peter - Jul 2022
"Great 3 bedroom villa. Fabulous location and facilities with very friendly and helpful staff."
Russell - Jul 2022
"Lovely site but accommodation a bit tired and shabby. Staff friendly and helpful especially Angela on reception who sorted out our booking when we arrived as we had added the weekend to our midweek booking with short notice and we had booked 2 different accommodations by mistake with 2 different companies. She sorted it out within 20 mins and we were able to stay in the same bungalow all week."
Gail - Jul 2022
"Beautiful site ,friendly staff ,would go again."
Amanda - Jul 2022
"Very clean and tidy accommodation and site"
