"Good as long as you don't expect too much - the lodge was spacious, nice and clean and we felt a good place for exploring south Devon it was only let down by some repair issues and lack of the promised fishing Staff at the bar were very pleasant and the food was excellent"

"The 3 piece chair was obviously part of a set of which I guess was elsewhere. It wasnt possible to lean on the arm as I would unclip and collapse. The cleaner was called out to clean the oven which was in a disgusting state. Also the oven shelves didnt fit the oven.The bed was comfortable though"

"Arrived to freezing cold lodge, heating had not been turned up for our arrival even though weather had been very cold. Windows also left partially open. Very tired lodge even though we booked superior one !! broken hot tub cover which was dangerous !!also broken arm leaver. No heating in 2nd bathroom where shower is. Also dishwasher door was broken . Dirty stained Duvet & pillows. When we told reception about issues they just said nobody had reported any of the issues so obviously they never check cleaners work or maintenance team.Have been staying in Lodges for years. This is definitely the worst. Only good thing was Location !! Would not recommend until things change dramatically. This Liodge was definitely not Superior !!!!"

"Hot tub was cold when we arrived at 5pm, we had been told it would be ready so dissapointed it didn't get up to temperature on the first night.
Lids hinge was broken and dangerous.
As we had to depart before 9am the hot tub was emptied at 8am meaning we couldn't use on departure day either. Good job we stayed 4 nights as staying forc2 night would have meant hot tub not really accessible."

"We had such a lovely time staying here! The location is perfect for a peaceful escape with friendsand the layout really gives you plenty of privacy. The lodge itself was super spacious and spotlessly clean, with everything you could need-full oven, washer/dryer, dishwasher, even a bath and shower. The hot tub was an absolute highlight, already at the right temperature when we arrivedand they checked the chemical levels daily, which was reassuring. We loved relaxing outside on the seating area too. The only minor hiccup was the service in the club restaurant; the staff seemed a bit unsure about the menu and drinks, but the food was delicious. Well definitely be back!"

"We stayed in a really spacious lodge that was spotless. The furnishings felt high-qualityand it had everything we needed, from a washing machine to a large fridge freezer. The rooms were comfy, with separate toilet and shower. Perfect for families or couplesand the views were lovely!"

"Good value for money, not much to fault.
Bear in mind it is a golf course, so it doesn’t really have a kiddie play area.
It’s about 30-40 minute drive to the beach, farms, parks etc
Enjoyed our stay, good value for money.
One gripe is they try and sting you an extra 5quid a day for WiFi. This is a con and something standard that needs to be in the price.
Also not all the jets on the hottub work, and self clean isn’t very efficient."

"The lodges are lovely, and the staff very friendly and helpful. We came away with our 10 year old son and grandma and the 2 bedroom lodge was perfect for us. Would definitely recommend and will be back! The meal we had at the club was delicious and brilliant that you get a discount as a resident. Such good value for the quality of food. Perfectly located, close to Exeter and lovely seaside towns. Lots to do!"

"Really great lodge! The two bed we stayed in was massive. All the facilities you need are there, especially kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster) as well as TV with free view channels. No wifi though.
Hot tub was great! Located right by the lodge’s front door. Could adjust temperature, lights etc.
Parking right by the lodge too - useful.
Location great too. About 10-15mins drive from Exeter where there’s loads of restaurants, good high street, the Quay, historic areas.
Overall great experience, 10/10."
