This high-spec holiday home sits within 23 acres of private Devon countryside complete with premium fishing lakes. The spacious lodge features large windows flooding it with natural light and lovely lake views. Kentisbeare village is a short walk away and has a fab pub and shop.

Explore the Blackdown Hills Area of Natural Beauty or drive to the pristine beaches along Devon's Jurassic Coast. Exeter is only 15 miles away. The lodge sleeps 6 across 3 bedrooms - two king-size (one with en-suite) and one super-king that converts to twins. The open-plan living area features a cosy wood burner (all logs provided). A sheltered deck with lake views houses your private hot tub. A contemporary bathroom and fully-equipped kitchen complete this perfect holiday home.

Visit Wildwood Escot (14 miles, 25 mins), Crealy Adventure Park (16 miles, 30 mins), Sidmouth's beaches (19 miles, 35 mins) or the Donkey Sanctuary (22 miles, 40 mins). Kids can hunt fossils at Charmouth!

The cottage was absolutely lovely and in such a picturesque spot. We did worry about the future lodges, but honestly, we enjoyed our time as it was. Big thanks to Tom and Jed for making it special.

Crealy Great Adventure Park - EX5 1DR

This popular adventure park is full of thrills and excitement as well as having loads for younger children to take part in as well. The best theme park rides include the Tidal Wave log flume and Maximus the rollercoaster.  Other fantastic rides include the the New Vortex Watercoaster ride and the Queen Bess pirate ship.  Indoor fun is plentiful too with the Adventure Zone, the Magical Kingdom and Dina's Lost World.

While visiting the hospital children can learn about these shy wild animals and the dangers they face in the wild as well as how we can help them. The farm is a halfway house for sick hedgehogs and children can meet some of the animals that are almost ready to go back to the wild. The farm also has a gift shop, a coffee shop and a wildlife garden as well as a pet's area with Rabbits and Guinea Pigs.
