Knapp Lane Barn North Curry Reviews

James - Nov 2024
Beautiful countryside setting, really friendly owners, made us feel so welcome, lovely experience!
Emma - Aug 2024
Charming place with stunning scenery, perfect for exploring nearby attractions!
James - Aug 2024
Really enjoyed our stay here. The cottage conversion is lovely and perfect for taking dogs along. Only downside is the local pub's closed at the moment, but if you're after peace and quiet, it’s just right for unwinding completely.
Alex - Jul 2024
We loved the stunning views from the barn, it’s a real treat. Everything was spot on for a relaxing getaway. The Rising Sun pub has great food and drinks, definitely worth a visit. North Curry village has a well-stocked shopand there's a fish & chip van on Mondays. Perfect for couples with dogs-highly recommend!
Emma Carter - Jun 2024
We loved our stay at The Barn! The location was perfect, with stunning views and breathtaking sunsets. It’s really peaceful if you're after some quiet time. The short 10-minute walk to the village was handy, though it was a shame the Bird-in-Hand pub was shut. The shop was well-stocked, including a post office, which was really convenient. Our dog enjoyed the walk through the fields and loved the enclosed garden. The weather was a bit breezy but still warm and sunny. The hot tub was definitely a highlight! We’d happily return.
Oliver - May 2024
We really enjoyed our stay here! The location is fantastic, with stunning views and a very calming vibe. Our four small dogs loved the enclosed garden-plenty of space for them to run around. The hot tub was a lovely treat every day. The house was well kitted out and had a nice, spacious kitchen for preparing meals. The front room was comfortable, though a larger armchair would’ve been better. The bathroom was bright and roomyand the bedroom had a good layout. We’d definitely come back, though next time we might bring a mattress topper as the bed was quite firm for us. Overall, a lovely place to relax!
Jamie - May 2024
We’ve stayed here a few times nowand it’s always a cosy place with stunning views. Might come back again!
Emma Lewis - Apr 2024
We had an amazing stay! The views are absolutely stunning, really unspoilt and peaceful. The living space is cosy and perfect for us and our five small dogs. The location is great, just a short 5-minute walk to a lovely pub with fantastic Sunday roasts. The hot tub overlooking the countryside was a highlightand the walks straight from the door are a real bonus. We also enjoyed visiting nearby places like the alpaca farm, which was a real treat. We’ve already booked again!
Laura - Mar 2024
We had a lovely stay at this cosy cottage with stunning views over the Somerset Levels. It’s in a peaceful spot, yet just a short walk to the village along a tarmac road. The pub nearby serves really good food and the staff are friendly. The shop is well stocked, which was super handy. On a Monday evening, we enjoyed some delicious mobile fish & chips. The place was very clean and comfy. We didn’t meet the owners but they were easy to reach if needed. We left a day early because of the weather and holiday traffic, but overall, a great find!
James - Mar 2024
Beautiful spot with stunning views. The enclosed garden was perfect for our little dogsand we really enjoyed every second of our stay. Love it!
Emma Parker - Mar 2024
We had an excellent stay at Knapp Lane Barn! The place is spacious and super comfy - perfect for both us and our dog. The lounge has a lovely viewand the garden is secure and big enough to keep our pup happy. The bathroom was really nice, with a good-sized shower, separate tuband loads of hot water. It’s a short walk to the village with shops, pubsand a coffee spot. The owners are lovely and very helpful. Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for more - highly recommend!

We had such a lovely week at Knapp Lane Barn! The view from the big front windows was stunningand the log burner made everything feel so cosy after chilly days. The hot tub was a real treat, especially after long walks with our labradors. The kitchen had everything we neededand the comfy bed made nights perfect. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway!

Emma - Dec 2023
We really enjoyed staying at this barn conversion. The surrounding countryside is absolutely stunning, perfect for long walks with our two dogs-they had a great time! It’s our second visitand the place is always spotless and comfy. Our son lives nearby in North Curry, so we come for Christmas. Can’t wait to see how it looks in summer, I bet it’s different altogether!
Emma - Nov 2023
We had a lovely stay at the cottage! The place was well equippedand the view was stunning. The jacuzzi was a real treat after a long day exploring. We enjoyed walking to the nearby pub and village, where the food was really good - definitely recommend booking ahead. The location is perfect for scenic walks around the wetlands and the Quantocks, whether with or without dogs. Just a heads-up, the pub's closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, but there are plenty of other options nearby. Hoping for better weather next time, but it didn’t spoil our holiday at all.
Emma - Oct 2023
The place was really lovely, super comfyand the garden was perfect for our dog.
