About Gilfach Holiday Park

Looking for a holiday to get away from it all, without really feeling like you’re in the middle of nowhere? Gilfach Holiday Park is a fantastic option in the West coast of Wales! Located near Aberaeron this affordable holiday park offers stunning views over the 36 acres of countryside in which it is situated, as well as views over the coastline to admire. Whether you're travelling with family or friends, their hot tub properties are definitely worth a look.

The best holiday parks have on-site facilities to make life easier on vacation, and Gilfach is no different! For those traveling with family, the on-site children's play area is a great place for any kids to blow off steam.

When the adults need to release some energy too, the tennis court is super handy, whether you're picking up the racket for the first time or you're a seasoned pro at the game, get the family together and head on over! Everyone can take a walk on the nearby coastal path to admire the coastline views. At the end of a long day on-site or out and about, pay a visit to the on-site bar to cool down before heading back to the comfort of your own holiday cottage.

To be able to enjoy all the brilliant on-site extras, your need that perfect place to stay! If you're with your family, we'd recommend booking Cwm Cottage. Sleeping up to six guests over three bedrooms (one king-size, one double and one twin) which are all completed with their own TVs - so everyone has their own private space to rest and relax!

Take the party outdoors when the weather is nice onto the decking where you and your loved ones can relax either in your own private hot tub, or on the outdoor furniture but if the weather doesn't hold up as well as you'd like, then stay warm inside with underfloor and central heating included.

Smaller groups - couples or young families will really love the layout and versatility of the Bijou Cottage! Just because this property only sleeps two guests, it doesn't mean you'll be compromising on beautiful aesthetics and surroundings; look out over sea views from your private hot tub or open the doors to your Juliet balcony. And when you feel like cooking up a storm, there's a handy contemporary kitchen on hand, as well as dining area to enjoy your meal at too!

Don't feel like cooking? Head down to Aberaeron harbour, where a warm welcome awaits you at the Cellar restaurant and bar. Using locally sourced produce, you're sure to experience a memorable taste of the Welsh coastline, whatever time of year you visit! And if you happen to be visiting during the Summer, it's the most terrific tapas spot, where you can enjoy your meal on the Terrace overlooking the beautiful harbour.

Once you've enjoyed college or lunch at the Cellar, why not head down to Aberaeron beach, and admire the Welsh coastline up close and personal. Explore the sales and galleries on the shore or take a book to breathe in that sea breeze with.

If gardens are your thing then Llanerchaeron is a great day out - or following on from your meal at the cellar! This Georgian Villa was a family home for 10 generations and is now run by the National Trust. Explore the John Nash villa, the same architect that designed the Royal pavilion in Brighton!

Wander through the 18th century walled gardens before visiting the farm to see how the site continues to farm today with their own Llanwenog sheep and Welsh pigs. Remember to check and see what’s on before your visit to enhance your trip even more and refuel before heading back to Gilfach at Conti’s café, where you can grab a hot drink or ice cream!

"Had a wonderful peaceful holiday. Surroundings were perfect. Dog friendly but need gates around chalet as my dog had to be on a lead whole time which he didn't enjoy was biting the lead which was stressing us to. So to improve things that would be helpful.
