Colliery Lane Lodges Reviews

"Could do with a few more items in the house with it being self catering. Cooking oven trays, oil, and toilet rolls. Having 12 girls in one lodge, that happily sleeps everyone, could just do with a few extras."
Claire - Nov 2023
"The cottage was lovely but personally needs a good refresh. Example - skirting boards, sofa cushions were broken a zip was broken so cover was coming off. Floors was damaged was a hole in the door upstairs and just covered it with a sign. Needs some sort of curtains or blinds for the windows upstairs."
Hayley - Oct 2023
"Fantastic stay"
Joshua - Jul 2023
"Loved it and will definitely return"

"Spent friday to sunday at colliery lane lodges and had a fantastic girly holiday. Had a few minor issues when arriving but the staff couldnt be more helpful, sorted all the issues within half an hour and did everything they could. Would highly recommend for any occasion."
Alice - Jul 2020
"What a beautiful place! We had a fantastic time. The cabins are lovely and clean, the highlight was definitely the hot tub, and there is a lovely fishing lake and a park for the kids. The only negative thing I have to say is that when booking it stated that there was a bbq included which we thought was great, what it didn't state was that we had a fire pit/bbq all in one which was beautiful, but there is an additional charge of 65 pounds to rent the gas bottle and grill plates. I think this should be stated as an additional charge upon booking. But overall I would definitely recommend this beautiful place and would return."
Keara - Jul 2020
"Incredible will be booking again for a weekend break and recommended to several friends are looking forward to booking very soon"
Laura - Jul 2020

Samantha - Feb 2020
"Brilliant everything was thought of."
Jane - Jan 2020
"What a wonderful stay we had. We were in the Cadley lodge and it was so much better then expected. Spacious, warm and cosy. We stayed for 2 nights just me and my wife without the kids, and all we did was relax! The hot tub was amazing. We spent majority of our time in here, and when we had a slight confusion over the temperature, we called the number of the lady who works onsite and she immediately came and reassured us. Overall our stay was 10/10 and we will recommend to family and friends. We hope to return for another relaxing break soon!"
Jack - Jan 2020
"The non-accessible lodge was a lot more modern and had more up to date furnishings that its accessible counterpart.
Overall the lodge was lovely and did the job for a weekend break."
Nikita - Jan 2020
"Fantastic clean and spacious lodge. Lovely warm hot tub . Very friendly staff."
Sandra - Dec 2019
"Lovely lodges! Only downside was the beds weren't that comfy; better quality mattresses would make it perfect."
Elizabeth - Dec 2019
"Great value for money accommodation was 5
Nothing is to much for staff"
James - Nov 2019
"We visited for my sisters birthday the lodge was lovely really spacious and had everything we could need. We had one minor issue whilst on site we called the number in the guest book and the staff were with us in a matter of minutes they were really helpful nothing was too much. I’d highly recommend. We will be returning with our children as it is a great site for all x"
Stacy - Jul 2022
"Had the best weekend here, all the staff were amazing and made us feel really welcome, can’t wait to come back later in the year an see everyone x"
Samantha - Jul 2022
"Lovely location, good entertainment"
Charlotte - Jul 2022
"Had the best break with family and friends. My daughter uses a wheelchair and the lodge was ideal. Loved the big decking, fire pit table and hot tub, also had good night in the marquee. Will be booking again for next year"
Amanda - Jul 2022
"We had a lovely week here. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The lodge was a great size and we had everything we needed. It was lovely and clean. The hot tub was lovely and was checked and cleaned each morning. We didn't do any fishing but spoke to others who did and they were catching plenty. The site is very well laid out and very tidy. The bar was very reasonably priced. The kids loved the football pitch, trampoline and Slushies! We hope to return next year."
Jamie - Jul 2022
"Had best time ever lovely clean site friendly staff definitely will return"
Gillian - Jul 2022
"Great Lodge, loads of room, hot tub excellent, was inspected and cleaned every day. Location was good, close to Conkers, Moira Furnace, and not too far to Drayton Manor, Warwick Castle. Staff very friendly, after reading previous reviews which were pretty mixed was pleasantly surprised, all very good, we could nix pick for a few more cooking trays etc.. Shower head hose was leaking and informed staff, was fixed that day (I wish people that complain would ask as nothing seamed to be a bother). A little bit of noise came from the marque tent but this stopped after 10:30pm. Kids loved the play area which included a bouncy castle."
Verified Guest - Jul 2022
"Fabulous girly weekend away . Beautiful clean lodge . Only negative is that the glasses were sparse ."
