Kilnwick Percy Resort (KP Lodges) Reviews

"The lodges are beautiful. We had a pet friendly lodge it was immaculate on arrival and smelt so clean. The location was amazing over looking the golf course and out the way which was perfect for the kids. Location was also perfect, 30 minutes from beautiful York and 50 minutes from Scarborough which are both brilliant for things to do with kids. Will definitely return. The lodges could just do with a brush/hoover so that we can keep the lodge clean on our stay as no one came in to change towels and sweep the floors so over the days we were there it got quite messy with having children."
Charlotte - Oct 2024
"We stayed at the lodge from Monday to Friday and overall it was a nice enough stay with decent facilities. However, our experience was somewhat marred by cleanliness issues upon our arrival. The floors were not well hoovered or mopped, which was a concern since we were traveling with our crawling baby. Unfortunately, basic cleaning equipment was not provided in the lodge, but when we contacted reception, they promptly brought us a hoover and mop, which we appreciated.Additionally, we encountered a pool of water in the washing machine when we went to use it, but again, maintenance was quick to respond once we alerted reception. It would be beneficial for the lodge to pay a bit more attention to the maintenance and upkeep between guests, especially given the price point. One last point of disappointment was that the dog-friendly lodge did not have any sort of enclosure for the garden area. This meant our dog had to stay mostly indoors unless on a lead, which he typically dislikes. Had we known this in advance, we could have brought a garden stake to secure him outside. Overall, with a bit more care in these areas, the stay could have been much more enjoyable."
Jade - Oct 2024
"Excellent place very friendly lodges amazing, golf course club staff friendly Recommend to all family friendly, clean love this place **"
Deborah - Oct 2024
"Enjoyable family time together"
Karen - Oct 2024
"Stay away from lodge 10"
Julie - Oct 2024
"This was our second visit in a deluxe lodge. My only complaint was that the bedroom on the ground floor did not have a shower in it, this was replaced by a bath which proved a little difficult for one of our guests, we thought, like last time, all en-suites had showers, but I am sure had we asked to move to another lodge the staff would have done so for us. Just making people aware when they book."
Carole - Oct 2024
"The lodge was absolutely lovely. We got upgraded for free which made the experience even better. The lodge had brilliant facilities, the bedrooms were massive and one of the nicest kitchens ever. Hot tube was very clean. I would 100% return back. We really enjoyed it."
Charlotte Webb-Fryer - Oct 2024
"It had everything we required. Really easy to book taxi for trip into York."
Lucy - Oct 2024
"This was our first time visiting the KP resort and have to say we were really impressed with the facilities that the lodge had to offer and the staff were very welcoming, helpful and polite. The chef deserves a mention as the food was excellent. We would definitely recommend this resort and will be back in the future."
Chris - Sep 2024
"Very spacious and I liked how it had an upstairs. All bedrooms are spacious too! One annoying thing for us was; the hot tub kept going off through the night so if you slept in the master (i did) its very loud & kept us up. None of us had a great sleep as mattresses not the best either. Shower in master not the best either; downstairs bathroom was fab as had choice to hold it. Would have been nice to be supplies with at least 1 dishwasher & washing machine tab. Quite alot of mould in the bathroom & on window over the stairs. I know the cleaners are on a time limit as its a shame how they arent in a great kept condition as one bathroom has a crack in floor. Also there was a fourth door locked which when looking from outside is another room. Parking for 2 cars which was ideal"
Brodie - Sep 2024
"Lodge itself was beautiful, extremely modern and clean. Could have done with some extra amenities for washing/ cleaning but overall really good stay and would come back in a heartbeat"
Verified Guest - Sep 2024
"Fantastic holiday, we have been here six times and it gets better every time. Lodges are modern and clean and staff friendly and helpful. Already booked again for next year."
paul harrison - Sep 2024
"Perfect! Definitely be visiting again"
Ebony - Sep 2024
"Fantastic break at Kilnwick Percy. The lodge was cracking and the setting is beautiful. We had late lunch at the restaurant which was fantastic with great service and reasonable prices. Only negative comment I have is the flooring in the main living area could be doing with being replaced along with a bit of TLC of the ceilings, it looked like it had suffered a leak at some stage. Absolutely did not stop us from enjoying but worth noting.Would return."
Matthew - Sep 2024
"Very enjoyable stay.Only snags in lodge, upstairs ensuite and bathroom extractor fans not working, not heated towel rails in both bathrooms.Light didn't work in jacuzzi.Non of which detracted from our enjoyable stay."
Ian - Sep 2024
"Overall a good holiday with a good view room and the hot tub was a winner Really nice experience"

"Beautiful lodges very spacious and communal space amazing for entertaining"
Abbie - Jul 2024
"Had a fantastic time and have recommended it to my friends and family. The security guard came round to see us a few nights in a row (lovely man), he also got our dogs some toys to play with which he also loved. Id definitely come back ."
Caroline - Jul 2024
"Best lodge Ive ever stayed in. Superb. The bedrooms are of a good size, comfortable and the view from the master bedroom upstairs out on to the 15th green is glorious. What with 4 couples going, it was impressive that all 4 rooms had king size beds. However, if youre travelling as a family, 2 of the bedrooms can have the beds separated to provide 2 twin rooms. The living area is spacious, well decorated and spotlessly clean. The kitchen was well equipped, the decking area and hot tub were perfect too."
Andi - Jul 2024
"Enjoyed the setting"
Verified Guest - Jul 2024
"Had a super weekend I just feel lodges need a little re fresh, rugs cushions etc I have been going years to these lodges and they are gorgeous but a little update would make all the difference."
Dawn - Jun 2024
"Millington Lodge . Clean, exceptionally comfortable. Everything you require for a self catering lodge stay, with restaurant on site if required"
Joan - Jun 2024
"Lodge was more than expected.Lounge dining area and kitchen all open plan making it sociable for everyone. All bedrooms with large ensuit bathrooms.Good outside area with hot tub but unfortunately weather too cold to take advantage of.Would definitely recommend."
Verified Guest - Jun 2024
"Stayed at pocklington deluxe lodge it was nice and spacious and a great master bedroom with great views of the golf course the hot tub was good only downside is it does need some TLC apart from that we enjoyed it regardless."
Christian&Kirsty - Jun 2024
"Lovely place to stay, the lodges are perfect and clean we had our own parking places which made unpacking easier. The hot tub was lovely and we had plenty of privacy! The beds were very hard but I’m used to memory foam so anything else would be. The restaurant was nice and sat outside looking at the view of the golf course was stunning. I would definitely stay here again."
Kerry - Jul 2022
"Beautiful location with stunning views."
Pauline - Jul 2022
"Lovely accommodation- very clean, modern and well equipped. A nice holiday park with some facilities on site but also close enough to towns to spend days away."
Rhona - Jul 2022
"Fabulous break with friends. Staff friendly and attentive, accommodation lovely and clean (could just do with soap and a hand towel in each bathroom) views were amazing, facial was fantastic and afternoon tea was delicious!!"
Lyndsey - Jul 2022
"We stayed at this resort Monday to Friday. It was a fantastic and beautiful resort and we will definitely be back. Staff were lovely and friendly. We had a warm welcoming and Ken who was the on-site security popped around the site each evening checking everything was okay. He was very kind and helpful. The only downsides were not being able to use the hot tub after 11pm and not having an enclosed area for dogs meaning they were constantly on long lines. Over all, definitely recommend this resort."
Megan - Jul 2022
"We had a wonderful weekend with family for a wedding which was just great. Staff helpful and friendly. We were aware that the lodge is to be refurbished. It is expensive though."
Eileen - Jul 2022
"Excellent resort and loved our stay. Only downside was restaurant, which was hard to get into and when we finally did the food was poor. However, overall experience was fabulous and we will definitely go back"
Jane - Jul 2022
"Amazing place, enjoyed every single moment and was worth it"
Memory - Jul 2022
"Excellent lodge and surroundings"
