Drimsynie Holiday Village Reviews

"Lovely, maintenance had to come twice as no mirror upstairs and previous customers had taken vacuum, but they were swift and polite"

"Very poor lodge needs a full refurb ."
Ian - Sep 2024
"Nice cabin bit dated"
Verified Guest - Sep 2024
"Very clean and handy for the pool and other features"
Grace - Sep 2024
"Comfortable but a bit run down looking-needs new shower curtains and toilet rails, and some wallpapering. Also very dusty windows with cobwebs outside."
Judith - Aug 2024
"Very worn sofas, ripped chairs in dining room and numbers worn off the cooker"
Nicola - Jul 2024
"Fabulous surroundings, friendly welcoming staff the most relaxing holiday I have had for years.Made really special by the brilliant staff Sue & Mark (Reception), Olivia, Liv, Owen and Carl who work their butts off in the View Restaurant not forgetting Rebecca (hope you enjoyed the cookies) and Liam in the Rob Roy bar."
Karen - Jul 2024
"Lodge was close to the centre and very spacious. A bit dated but clean. Three toilets with showers one bath which is handy for families. Separate fridge and freezer was appreciated since we brought lots of food. We needed a tin opener and towels which they brought to us really quick. Value for money accommodation as we didn't opt for a hot tub."
Mr. Donnelly - Jun 2024
"Pull down bed not easy to operate everything else great"
Andrew - Jun 2024
"Fab location . Peaceful"
Verified Guest - May 2024
"We stayed in apartment 2, not 4 as in the title. Excellent accommodation, 4 double bedrooms, one which was a twin room, all others had double beds. House was very clean, cosy and big enough for a family gathering. It had a farmhouse feel about it with a massive kitchen dinning table to sit 8. The courtyard has plenty parking available right outside the door for 2 cars for each property which there are 4 of. Our son picked the double room upstairs which has an en-suite and nice views of the loch."
Verified Guest - Apr 2024
"I would not recommend this holiday village to friends and family as the accommodation was very poor. It was dirty and very run down. I reported to reception about the amount of dead flies on the celing of the main bedroom and the smell coming from the shower room within that bedroom from the black mould all over the celing. I asked if someone could at least come and clean the flies off but over the week we were there no one ever came. This made it impossible for us to use that bedroom. We booked a 3 bedroom lodge as that's what we required for our stay. The hot tub only had 2 or 3 jets working this was also reported to reception and hot tub attendant again nothing was done about this. The over all cleanliness of the lodge was not good at all."
Donna - Nov 2023
"Hot tub was great and big enough for four adults just needs some of the jets fixed as they werent working properly."
Gary - Nov 2023
"Good lodge, bit tired decor wise. Found double beds a bit small for my tall husband and son. Wallpaper riped in one bedroom However great facilities, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer"
Jean - Nov 2023
"As stated previously, disappointed for what we paid to turn up to wallpaper ripped and hanging off walls. Toilet seats broken, and dining room chairs with holes etc. good size lodge and hot tub but disappointed that the jets didnt really work and no one came over the weekend to top up water and check levels etc."
Gillian - Nov 2023
"Wonderful from start to finish Devin and Kirsty at the desk couldn't do enough to help. The caravan was beautifully clean and the view incredible. Swimming pool was lovely Hazel and her staff were so enthusiastic and helpful. Our children did a few activities which we booked prior to arriving and all activities staff were incredible but Justin is one in a million a real asset to the site! The little shop has the essentials and staff lovely there, we had got in touch previously with the site and found out our number and had a arranged a food shop delivered from Morrisons. We did the movie night which was amazing and so relaxing a real treat for us all.The location is incredible and site absolutely immaculate. Paige who worked at the Rob Roy was wonderful such fun and happy face to see.We ate at The View after mixed online reviews we were unsure what to expect however the food and service was perfect. In my daughters opinion Joy is amazing! We loved thus holiday! See you next year!!!"
Emily - Nov 2023
"Weve been very welcoming by the staffs when we arrive, very friendly and smiling. My son had accident injury of his head my god all the staff were very helpful and well training of first aids and helping us calm, the manger her name Collette I think shes wonderful Ive ever seen shes offered us to hot drink while awaiting for paramedics and gave my son a lollypops so they found nearer to medical centre which isnt far from holiday park and then we got back and shes offered my son to do something as hes very brave wee boy. I didnt get chance to say thank you to Collette for everything and helping us to understand as we are deaf. The location is must a wow! What a majestic view of lake mountains everything is heavenly peaceful place. Scotland has truly been blessed with beautiful views and beautiful places too. We will coming back again! "Shower over bath was leaking and paintwork in downstairs shower room needed touching up. Do love this lodge though."
Ann - May 2023
"What a great holiday! We will definitely be coming here again. The caravan was lovely, modern, spacious and clean. There were lots of facilities to use. Next time we'll make sure to book some activities in advance as some were booked up before we got there but this time with a young baby we couldn't book in advance so we knew this could be a possibility. We're going to come back in October with wider family since we enjoyed it so much. The food was great too."
Rebecca - May 2023
"I recommend this lodge strongly.
Our family had a memorable holiday ever. The lake view through the window in main bedroom was fantastic so It came a best birthday gift for me."
Kim - Aug 2020

"Will definitely return was so much activities for my son to take part in. Surrounding views were stunning. Caravan was absolutely beautiful and spotless. Great time had by all. Had a weeks holiday and could definitely have stayed longer"
Margaret - Aug 2022
"Very friendly and informative staff all round. Beautiful surroundings, we had a hot tub and were not overlooked by anyone and the views were amazing. We complained about a dog barking constantly as he was left on his own after around 7pm till late on night. Within the hour a member of staff came to inform us this had been dealt with and thanked us for reporting it. Apart from the dog barking the remainder of the time the site was peaceful. Reported sound was not working on TV in the living area and this was replaced the next morning."
Val - Jul 2022
"The overall holiday experience was very good, the venue amazing and all the staff friendly. On our first evening we needed further information regarding our bungalow but reception was not open. This was a Saturday so I presume a lot of people had booked in that day, there were other people at the desk looking for staff at the same time as me (approx 7pm). I would suggest a later time for popular book in days or at least put a notice up so people know they have gone home."
Nikki - Jul 2022
"Loved every minute definitely go back !"
Catherine - Jul 2022
"After a few initial problems on site we had a wonderful time and would recommend the site to anybody. We were upgraded to the most beautiful lodge we have ever stopped in. Everything was there. Great time was gad by all."
Neil - Jul 2022
"Caravan was spotless Location was perfect Staff were so helpful and always smiling. Food at restaurant was outstanding as was the waitress. I have and will recommend this place to all my family and friends. Outstanding location"
Angela - Jul 2022
"Stunning place to visit, would be great if there was a cash machine for easiness, overall 10/10 stay. Will definitely be back!"
