    Penstowe Park Holiday Lodges Reviews

"The cabin had everything we needed for a short break"
    Janet - Oct 2024
"Absolutely loved our few days away. The Spanish villa was so nice and the enclosed garden meant we could sit outside in the glorious weather and not have to put our pooches on their leads. Peaceful and comfortable. If you peace, tranquility youll like it too!"
    Verified Guest - Sep 2024
"Great accommodation - ideal for my short break. Local pubs and shops a short walk away . Also a short drive to several beaches."
    Verified Guest - Sep 2024
"Great holiday. We stayed in the Manor lodge with private garden and hot tub and lovely spacious house"
    Samantha - Sep 2024
"We got Spanish villa, Upon entering the villa, there was a bad smell and extreme humidity in the villa that could not stay at all. We had to pay for electricity. It was a very peaceful and beautiful place. But we were not at all satisfied with the place we got and I do not recommend this place at all."
    Verified Guest - Aug 2024
"We had a lovely stay, the chalet was a home from home. There is nothing on site, but we like the peace. Families with young children may prefer a site with stuff to do. Nearest shop was 5 minutes drive. We loved that we have an enclosed garden. Perfect for the dog to chill in."
    Verified Guest - Aug 2024
"No WiFi it's 2024 ? Everywhere has WiFi these days . The TV was quite small basic channels and it was bad receception. Luckily we had electric in our cottage because some had to pay separate when they got there so please check if you get electric. The cottage it self was very clean had everything you needed kitchen was nice and big well equipped. Some had picnic benches outside and sitting areas ours didn't."

    Mike - May 2024
"Lovely place, it had all the amenities needed. Even has a partial sea view with amazing green rolling hills, a beautiful view to enjoy with my morning cup of tea. The only negative I have is that I wish you could turn the sofas around so that you could enjoy the lovely views from inside more. Would definitely recommend."
    Jeanette - May 2024

    Lisa - Nov 2023
    "Had a very enjoyable stay."
    William - Nov 2023
"Bit cold! Minor gripe and definitely wouldn't put me off staying again."
    Paul - Nov 2023
"Accommodation quite good nearly everything you needed."
    Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"If youre coming. Just for a week or so you do need to bring a few bits and bobs that you might not expect such as toilet roll, washing up liquid, bin bags, towels like just odd little bits.If the upkeep/cleaning had been a little better than it would have been PERFECT! On the first day we found a glass with what looked like left over off milk in ????One of the issues we did have with the accommodation was that it needed airing out almost every time we walked in! I get that it was a pet friendly one but honestly the spare bedroom was almost inhabitable because of the smell! Towards the end we thought it could POSSIBLY be the cleaning products that had settled but it was just so bad every time we walked in. Thank goodness for the patio door and wide opening windows! There were a few marks on the floor in the living room area. We werent spending much time in the villa as it was really just a base for us. I do think if you were going to stay in it wouldnt be the most ideal. However I do know that the villa next to us was immaculate and I had met an owner of a few other villas that seem a much higher standard."
    Emma - Nov 2023
"The Spanish villa was a great base to explore the area! We were really happy with it! It could have been cleaner on arrival but nothing a wipe round couldnt fix! There could have been a few additional things in the kitchen ie small sharp knife, a pair of scissors and a cooking tray! But other than that everything you need! The private garden was the best bit as the dog was secure and we could chill and not worry she wasnt safe."
    Joanne - Nov 2023
"We are very happy with our holiday. We will go back to that same place again."
    David - Nov 2023
"Superb, modern, all Mod cons internet wouldve been useful as very poor 4G signal. Planning trips and days out very difficult with no internet. Wouldve gladly payed a BT supplement if the park provided a hotspot."
    Gary - Nov 2023
"Lodge had been recently refurbed and was lovely. En suite was amazing but main bathroom could do with same refurb as rest of lodge. Overall very happy, quiet location and perfect for what we needed."
    Jonny - Jul 2023
"Had a great holiday nice location very friendly reception staff share my experience with friends and family I might be back next year"
    Tony - Jul 2022
"Everything was absolutely amazing no complaints here definitely will be back"
    Mitchell - Jun 2022
"When I booked by telephone i said I was disabled and asked for walk in shower some of the photos had a rail by the steps i asked if this was on our chalet but they did not know when we got there therre was no rail and made it very dificult for me my friend had to help me otherwise the chalet was lovely inside sorry the big house was closed"
    Maureen - Jun 2022
"We stayed in Penhalt Cottage which was very, very clean and well appointed easy walking distance to the village of Kilkhampton, would definitely recommend to family and friends. Lovely holiday site. Cannot comment on the on-site restaurant as we never had occasion to use it."
