Dove Lodge Reviews

Emma S. - Jun 2024
We had a brilliant time celebrating my mum’s 70th here! The glamping lodge was super comfy, with everything we needed and a cozy log burner. The owner was a top bloke-friendly and funny. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting something a bit unique!
Emma - Sep 2023
Really enjoyed the stay, spacious, clean, comfyand had everything we needed!
Emma Carter - Jul 2023
We had a fantastic stay! The owner was incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to help us. The lodge was just perfect-cozy, well-equippedand exactly what we pictured. Our family of six felt right at homeand the location couldn't be better. We’re already planning our next visit!
Emma - May 2023
We had a lovely stay at Dove Lodgeand the weather was really on our side, which made everything even better. The kids enjoyed running around freely in the field and making friends with others staying nearby. The lodge itself had everything we neededand the hot tub was such a treat-definitely recommend turning it on early since it takes a while to heat up, but it’s so worth it! We also took a walk along the canal and explored the nearby village, which was really charming. We’d happily come back!
Emily Carter - Apr 2023
Gilestone Farm's Dove Lodge is such a lovely spot for a family getaway. We’re a family of five with kids aged 10, 8and 2and everyone loved it. The tent was super clean and had everything we needed-really cosy and inviting. Despite some wild weather with strong winds and rain, we still had a great time. The wood burner kept the place warm and comfy, even on the chilliest nights. The owners are genuinely friendly and made us feel really welcome. Can’t wait to come back next year, hopefully with better weather!

Lovely stay, spacious rooms, friendly staff, really enjoyed our trip!
Emma - Oct 2022
We really enjoyed the spot and the cosy safari tent. Charles, the host, was super friendly and shared plenty of tips about the local area. When our wood-fired hot tub refused to heat up, he kindly offered us an electric one from a nearby lodge, which was a real lifesaver. Overall, a lovely stay!
Emma - Jun 2022
We loved this cosy pub, just a short walk along the towpath. The atmosphere is so peaceful, perfect for unwinding. The fire pit is brilliant for BBQs, with all the wood and gear supplied. Charles is really laid-back, which makes it even better to relax and enjoy!
James - Jun 2022
