Pheasant Lodge Llangenny Reviews

Emma - Oct 2024
Nice spot, simple but tidy little cabin. Hot tub felt like more hassle than fun.
Emma - Oct 2024
We spent three nights at Pheasant Lodge with two adults and two teensand honestly, it was really lovely. The lodge felt cosy yet spacious, with a kitchen that had everything we needed. The location is just stunning, perfect for walks like the 10.5-mile loop up Sugarloaf. The wood-fired hot tub was a real highlight, even if it took a bit to get used to, but there was plenty of firewood. The owners are super friendly and helpful, which made everything even better. We’re already planning to return!
Oliver - Sep 2024
We had a lovely stay at Pheasant Lodge during a family wedding nearby. The place was well equipped and had everything we needed, from comfy beds to outdoor dining options, even if we didn’t try the BBQ. The location was handy for exploring Abergavenny and surrounding areas. Our kids loved wandering the garden and meeting the pigs and goats. The outdoor wood-fired hot tub was definitely a highlight for us! Lovely spot all round.
Jamie - Aug 2024
We spent a week at Pheasant Lodge with the family and honestly, it was fantastic. The lodge had everything we needed - it’s very well equipped and super cosy. The location is peaceful and perfect for a relaxing break. The kids loved feeding the goats and pigs, which was a lovely touch. The hot tub was a highlight, even if you do need to light the burner first. Overall, we’d definitely return and recommend it to others. Thanks for a great holiday!

We had a fantastic stay! The cottage’s scenery is breathtaking, especially from the hot tub - such a treat. The kitchen is fully stocked, making cooking easy if you fancy it. The garden is full of diverse plants, really charming. The hosts are genuinely lovely and super helpful. Definitely planning to come back soon!

Great spot for peace and scenery. Plenty of tough walks nearby for those who want them. The local pub’s friendly with decent food-just check their hours before visiting!
Sam - Nov 2023
We really enjoyed our time at Pheasant Lodge. The hosts were super friendly and went out of their way to help, even setting up Christmas decorations which was lovely. The hot tub was a nice touch, though it would’ve been better if we could control the heating ourselves. The property’s a bit uphill from the car park, so not ideal if you have limited mobility, but overall, a lovely stay!
Emma - Oct 2023
The location is absolutely stunningand we loved staying in Pheasant Cottage for four nights without needing the car. Great walks nearbyand the hot tub was worth the wait-even if it took a few hours to heat up.

We had a lovely stay here! The welcome was warm and friendly from the start. The rooms, showerand kitchen facilities were all spot on-really well maintained. The little garden terrace with the views is just gorgeous. We’d heard some folks moaning about the hot tub not being hot, but honestly, the owner sorted it out quickly-just needed cooling down. It’s a stunning place, perfect for relaxing. Just remember to bring your own food and drinksand you’re all set to enjoy!
