"We have been there twice now and would definitely be going again"

"Beautiful area, cottage in a quiet place. Furniture and fittings , especially the beds need replacing, the worst we have slept on in years. You could feel the springs as we got into bed . The curtains hanging down off the rail, I wanted to put them back on the hooks and tidy it up for them, but not enough hooks. The oven and utensils were unclean. However; there were plenty of white goods, washer dryer fridge and freezer. Heating that worked. The lodge felt like we had travelled back in time and needed updating to how cottages are nowadays."

"Lodge was spacious and comfortable. Enclosed garden area with seating area and hot tub. Good kitchen facilities. Peaceful location as set amidst farmland but within driving distance of attractions, nice walks and shops. Good base for a family holiday"

"We had a wonderful week away. There were 4 adults and 2 dogs and the lodge was perfectly sized for the 6 of us. A bonus that there is an enclosed garden. It was lovely to spend my birthday relaxing in the hot tub. Would definitely book again!"

"Lovely and secluded as we wanted, very helpful owners always on hand, we even got to hold the new born lambs. Would definitely return, very clean and comfortable. No wifi but we were all on EE and had no issues with reception."

"WE HAD A LOVLEY WEEKS HOLDAY IN PRIMROSE LODGE, I DID TAKE COVERS TO COVER THE SOFAS AS OUR DOG IS ALLOWED ON OUR SOFA AND I DID NOT WANT TO RUIN THE SOFAS IF OUR DOG GOT ON THEM, , LOVLEY LODGE, HAD ALL YOU WANT THERE, THE TUB WAS NICE TOO, RELAXING TO JUST WIND DOWN , WEATHER WAS GOOD TO US FOR OUR WEEKS HOLIDAY ALSO"

"Incredible holiday lodge. Has everything youll need. Location is so peaceful and relaxing, the hot tub was almost in constant use. The owners were extremely helpful and so friendly. Me and my family will be looking to go again next year as we absolutely loved it!"

"Only problem with the lodge is the flies they were a constant pain there was nothing in the lodge to get rid of them other than that the lodge and surrounding area was very much appreciated it was lovely and the lady who welcomed us was very welcoming"

"for me this was just the break I'd wanted. An excellent holiday for real tranquillity. A proper chance to take yourself away from the hustle and bustle of the outside world and truly relax in beautiful surroundings. Due to the severity of the snow I wasn't able to visit some beautiful little towns nearby but was more than happy to walk around the local area taking in the breath taking views on the odd occasions cabin fever set in. The remoteness of this Lodge does need to be taken into account especially if possibly staying in bad weather. The Lodge was really warm and cosy throughout my stay, which was certainly needed during early December. It was beautifully furnished and had a number of lovely unexpected finishing touches such as fresh eggs & shortbread biscuits. Having travelled to and from the Lodge in very bad snow the Lodge owners were available to help me get to and from the main road up to the Lodge in such bad conditions. They really do couldn't do enough for which I really am grateful. My only reasons for down marking on the overall rating is the due to the fact the shower appeared quite old and really didn't work that well and the kitchen was quite limited in utensils and cooking dishes. This does however seem petty when I consider what a truly amazing week I had in the most amazing of surroundings. I would most definitely recommend Heartsease Lodges to friends, family and others and would love to think I will return in the very near future."

"A lovely log cabin set in a quiet peaceful location. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived and had everything we needed for a few days of chilling. Beds were made up for our arrival and clean towels were provided. The chemicals in the hot tub were checked daily. All in all a lovely place to stay if you want to get away from everything."

"Fantastic lodge, excellent hot tub & the enclosed garden was absolutely brilliant for our 2 dogs to play. Very quiet peaceful area, nice to relax. Nearest shopping was about 8 miles away (Tesco Llandrindod Wells) but we ordered online and arranged delivery to the lodge for our first day arrival which was perfect. A bit further away (approx 40mins) is Newtown, more variety for shopping and a lovely park where dogs could run off lead and play in the river. Highly recommend."

Went went during the hottest days of the year, heartsease lodges were a god send! because we took our kids and dog some afternoons we had to stay in the lodge thankfully the garden area was brilliant for them all, enough room to kick a ball, play stuck in the mud or tag, the hot tub was amazing. I would recommend these lodges to everyone they are perfect."

"What a wonderful place to holiday, The hosts made us feel very welcome along with our fur baby Daisy, who had a lovely enclosed garden to wander in .The hot tub was a pure luxury and enjoyed very much. If you want total peace and quiet ,this is the place to come to . Out in the middle of no where ,lovely walks from the front door ,and scenery that’s beautiful. Thank you for such a special place to recharge our batteries. 100% recommendations."

"Photos don't do it justice. Lovely ranch style lodge. Well equipped. Very quiet and peaceful. Enclosed garden was a big plus. Would have given 10 but there's only one bathroom in the lodge. Needed an ensuite at least."

"Exactly what we wanted, a short break away in a rural location with great facilities. Clean, comfortable and with everything we needed (including Tesco delivering our shopping). Hot tub was a great size and easily fitted 4 adults, it was checked daily for the chemical levels and these adjusted with no impact to guests. Will definitely return!"
