Truro is perfectly placed to explore Cornwall and even parts of Devon. If you have time during your stay, take a day trip out to some of the brilliant sites nearby. Just a half hour drive away is the iconic Eden Project. Fitted with enormous biodomes, the Eden Project allows you to experience a range of environments. Whether you visit for the plants, animals, or just to see the brilliant architecture, you are sure to enjoy your trip. Why not book onto the zip line that passes over the site for an extra adventure.
Alternatively, make your way to the coastal town of Falmouth. Home to the National Maritime Museum and some of the prettiest streets in Cornwall, it is a fabulous place to enjoy an idyllic day by the sea. Visit the Cornish Seal Sanctuary and book a ‘breakfast with the seals’ experience. Or, make the short trip to the infamous Bodmin Moor. Here you can see Cornwall’s highest church, many iron age hut circles, mining ruins and plenty of natural wonders. Even try your own eye at spotting the beast of Bodmin Moor.
