Golden Coast Holiday Park Reviews

"Nice villa hot tub lovely and clean ????"
Verified Guest - Apr 2024
"We were allocated a first floor apartment by mistake after booking a ground floor. We had a dog so ground floor was essential, reception staff dealt with very quickly and upgraded us to a lodge which was fabulous and not expected, so very pleased."
Sadie - Apr 2024
"Accommodation was nice and spacious. Bathroom had a walk in shower that was powerful and hot. We took our dog with us who was welcome in the bar down stairs. Food in the restaurant was nice too. There was a nice walk for us to take the dog whilst on site. Being an older couple we went before the season started so it was quieter on site. We were informed about this. In season there appeared to be a lot for children to do and entertainment at night. Overall this holiday would appeal to a lot of people of various ages and pet friendly. Staff were friendly and helpful during our stay."
Mark - Mar 2024
"Good accomodation, a bit of a walk from the car park to bring stuff in. Comfortable and warm though. Could do with side lamps in the bedrooms as only has overhead light which was strange"
James - Feb 2024
"On arrival at Golden Coast we were advised that there were absolutely no facilities open whilst we were there (February half term). This was not made clear on the Hoseasons website at the time of booking however it has been added now. Other guests also complained about this to us. We had expected the outdoor activities to be closed due to the time of year however we thought there would still be entertainment/the arcade etc open. The Villa was nice, clean and had plenty of room for everyone (2 adults, 4 children). There were issues with the heat of the water particularly in the shower however we had a second one so avoided using the main one."
Joanna - Feb 2024
"House was in mess , things damages and dirty bed was terrible too"
Marcin - Nov 2023
"Really good site."
Kathryn - Nov 2023
"Very good 10 out of 10 ????"
Alfred - Nov 2023

"Just perfect . Everything you needed for a perfect holiday."
Amanda - Nov 2023
"The only slightly negative thing to say is the lack of a large saucepan and oven trays. Everything else was spot on. Oh 1 more little thing, We were in PP20 and the Wi-Fi wasn't great. Could only connect with a laptop, mobile devices or Amazon TV stick didn't see the Wi-Fi name."
Richard B - Nov 2023
"Lovely house everything you need was clean beds were comfy was great"
Laura - Nov 2023
"Beds and sofas were comfy."
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"All fine, a bit too warm could have benefitted from more crockery and cutlery. Steps to apartment steep and a bit slippery needed algae removal"
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"Very good all staff friendly and helpful only thing against it was on leaving day we left at nine and nothing was open was going to have breakfast so a little disappointed"
Suzanne - Nov 2023
"Didnt stay in this accommodation"
Richard - Nov 2023
"The holiday itself was fantastic value for money, the location is ideal to explore Devon, the apartment was brilliant, lovely and clean, comfy and well equipped. The prices for food and alcohol were pretty high, but I guess it is a captive audience and you dont have to buy it. Personally I think the entertainment times were all wrong because they had bingo for 20 minutes or so at 6 pm then little childrens games and stuff after that, when really the little ones should have been getting ready for bed, still, only my opinion and I just went back to the apartment, no probs"
Lynda - Nov 2023
"Pleased with apartment very clean and adequately stocked. Sofa could do with replacing & Pillows."
Michael - Nov 2023
"great location for exploring North Devon"
Raymond - Nov 2023
"Lovely apartments fridge a little small"
Mark - Nov 2023
"Excellent for young families"
John - Nov 2023
"All the kick boards round the kitchen had fallen off and were laying flat."
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"Great holiday and great park. The accommodation was perfect for a family of 5 and a dog. Everything was close by and easy to access. We had one small problem with the property but it was fixed within 10 mins of us reporting it."
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"Great site with plenty to keep the kids entertained. Very helpful & friendly staff. We were situated between the main entrance & the shop & noticed lots of vehicles not sticking to the 10mph speed limit. We think they may have been cutting through the site. Not great either lots of children around."
Shirley - Nov 2023
"I had to repair the shower head on arrival which would have been seen by the cleaners who did not report it. There were a few things missing from the villa but overall, was pretty good and as expected although the furniture wasn't particularly comfortable. The on- site entertainment team were very poor- lethargic, predictable, boring and lacking guidance from an entertainment specialist. My 10yr ld and 12 yr old spent most of their time in the arcade and the 3 adults spent most time in the pool room as there was nowhere else open. There was a band on who were ok and a juggler who was quite good, the rest of the entertainment was rubbish. My daughter was asked to judge the talent show on Tuesday evening so we stayed in the main lounge. I had an extensive waterproof jacket stolen whilst in there and reported it missing on Wed at 9am. None of the cleaners found it so l asked for CCTV to be checked. It wasn't checked until Friday at 3pm. The theft was caught on camera and the thief had a distinctive beard and was with a female and the pair were easily identifiable. The manager said he would circulate the picture to all staff so they could identify the accommodation they were in. I heard nothing and l caught a glimpse of the culprit driving away from reception on Saturday morning. I like Devon but l won't be back to this site."
Graham - Nov 2023
"Very good holiday. Plenty of facilities especially with a dog. Couldn't park outside apartment which was inconvenient when unpacking car. House was a very good size.Unhappy about being covered in glitter by entertainment staff when just walking through!!"
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"Excellent for families, lots to do,"
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"Loved the walk in showers. Soft furnishings in lounge could do with a bit of a clean but it is end if season."
Lesley - Nov 2023
"Had a lovely time friendly staff and beautiful location"
Chris - Aug 2022
"We’ve just had a fabulous week in the Golden Coast holiday village, the activities for the kids are amazing, the high ropes/climbing wall, outdoor heated pool were fantastic, we will be returning. The only thing I would mention is that there is 1 queue for food and drink, which can take 20 minutes to get from the back to the front..and the connection for contactless payment needs speeding up.. apart from that, the staff are lovely, very friendly and helpful, just need more of them, or a different system at the bar."
Shirley - Aug 2022
"This is a wonderful place where everything is perfect, lovely feel to the place , very well organised and there is nothing missing the staff are so professional nothing is too much trouble , from the first step onto the park it is super welcome , the caravan was great and so clean we would like to say thank you for such a wonderful time, keep the good work up . Thank you ."
Penelope - Aug 2022
"A great holiday, perfect for families"
Christine - Aug 2022
"Loads to do...needed another holiday to have a rest."
Owen - Aug 2022
"Lovely park friendly staff great location"
Mark - Aug 2022
"Holiday with grandchildren 2 teenagers and an 8 year old , plenty to do for both ages easy access for different beaches feel we didn't make the most of the holiday camp would have been better if the 2nd indoor pool had been open as we were quite away from the main hub however beautiful setting"
Jeane - Aug 2022
"Caravan was spotless, good in site was good…no problems with staff…very good holiday park for families"
