St Ives Holiday Village Reviews

"Lovely new lodge. No table and a very strange coffee table. Other than that comfortable stay."
Verified Guest - Apr 2025
"Clean and comfortable accommodation with everything you could possibly need. Great on site facilities. Restaurant easy to book and food was good. We didnt watch the evening entertainment as we went out but seemed busy and like people were enjoying themselves as we passed by. Staff friendly and helpful. Good value family fun, would definately return."
Verified Guest - Mar 2025
"The site it self is nice but the rest I can't say the same. Dusty caravan, heating not working properly, the boiler sounded like it wanted to blow up every 5 minutes. Kids entertainment was a joke and swimming pool. Half of the arcade machines not functioning or would eat your coins. Food was horrendous, staff not very helpful. Overall I would not stay here again."
Daniel - Feb 2025
"Overall a very nice holiday and friendly and helpful staff hot tub brilliant"
Verified Guest - Feb 2025
"Our St Ives Holiday Village review: Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but the decking was quite slippy when wet-some sort of mop or squeegee would really help. Also, an airer would be a welcome addition for drying clothes."
Sam - Nov 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, the hot tub was definitely worth it!"
Emma - Oct 2024
"Weve stayed here annually, but this years lodge was a letdown. It was tiny with a poor layout and the space for food was non-existent since its meant to be self-catering. No wardrobe space either. Even with just two of us, it felt really cramped, despite being listed as a 6-8 berth."
Emma Carter - Oct 2024
"will not be returning to st Ives overall accommodation was poor"
Christine - Oct 2024
"Not a very good holiday as I have already explained"
Ruth - Oct 2024
"There was not a lot of storage space in the bungalow for our belongings. The chairs did not fit under the table between the chair legs so the chairs took up a lot of space in a small are. Would have preferred a wardrobe in my bedroom rather than open storage unit. We had no bench set outside our accommodation. We were the only unit without one. Reported it on arrival but nothing was done about it."
Karen - Oct 2024
"Could have more utensils in the kitchen eg a cheese grater. The 2 en-suites were excellent."
Verified Guest - Sep 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay here"
Emma - Sep 2024
"Not the comfiest sofas and the place was pretty dusty overall."
Emily Carter - Sep 2024
"The bungalow we have rented smelled of mildew and indeed we found some unclean spaces that haven't been deep cleaned in long time. Disgusting. Outdated, dirty bathroom (which wasn't shown in the picture gallery when I was booking the bungalow, surprise, surprise). The location was good, surrounded with massive trees, not far away from a woodl and walk and reception. I don't underst and why, after 11 exhausting hours of driving in traffic, we had to make our own bed? The mattress and duvet were stained. Bleh. I didnt relax as I thought I would, thanks to the state of the bungalow but at least the scenery of beautiful and sunny Cornwall made up for it (not entirely, but oh well..)"
Sylvia - Sep 2024
"We had a fantastic time at this place, honestly! The site has everything we could need and the atmosphere by the pool was just lovely-music playing, floats floating around and a fun slide too. Theres a park right next to the pool, but we also discovered a hidden one tucked away in the forest, which was a nice little surprise. Location-wise, its really convenient for heading to St Ives or Penzance, with a bus stop right there and the train station just about five minutes away, so getting around was super easy. The Rafters restaurant served up some great food and we couldnt fault the service at all. Every staff member we met, from the shop guy to the bar staff and pool helpers, were so friendly and helpful. Cristina and the office team also did a cracking job, sorting out little issues quickly. But honestly, the entertainment team was the highlight-so much fun and really went above and beyond. They offered loads of activities both during the day and at night and all four of the stripeys worked brilliantly together, adapting to whatever came up. Heather, Dane, Kelsey and Neeve really made our holiday special. Were already planning to come back in June-cant wait!"
Ellie - Jul 2024
"The cabin was really roomy and spotless, plus the hot tub was a highlight!"
Rachel - Jul 2024
"Excellent clean and a lovely position"
Maxine - Jul 2024
"Really pleased with it"
Emma - Jul 2024
"The lodge itself was lovely and the tub was a real highlight when it was actually full. Sadly, it was often drained after just one night, ruining our stay. The internet was useless and there were no towels or welcome pack at all. Disappointing overall."
Emma Taylor - Jul 2024
"The lodge was lovely and sitting on the decking in sunshine was perfect!"
Emily Carter - Jun 2024
"Small cabin, very little storage space and no hanging space at all, not even a rail In Wardrobes. It coat hooks . Kitchen tiny but well equipped. Outdoor space was a picnic table tucked away"
Verified Guest - Jun 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, would definitely come back but the long drive of over 200 miles is tough for us."
Martin - May 2024
"Beautiful lodge, everything you needed. Comfortable beds and good shower"
Verified Guest - May 2024
"We had a lovely stay at the lodge. Plenty of room and loved the furniture, especially the dressing areas in the bedrooms. The utility room with the washing machine was a real bonus too!"
Emma - Apr 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay"
Emma Carter - Apr 2024
"Honestly, we were a bit disappointed with the lodge. It supposed to be br and new, but it had a strange smell and stained seating that didnt quite look fresh. The bathroom radiator was rusty and the sink plugs didnt work at all, which was annoying. The fridge wasnt fixed properly either - just a small thing, but when you pay for platinum, you expect better attention to detail. On the bright side, the beds were really comfy and the main room was massive, plus the heating and shower were spot on. Wouldve been great to have smart TVs, especially since the weather kept us indoors most of the time. Not perfect, but okay overall."
Jamie - Apr 2024
"Will book again"
Jane - Aug 2022
"Good holiday could do with more amenities like a coffee/tea shop as I could not get a drink mid morning. More childrens outdoor things to do .we found a little park in the woods could do with a slide and swings. But it was a lovely clean park caravan superb"
Janet - Jul 2022
"Reception staff were very helpful Especially with the bus info"
Joanne - Jul 2022
"Beautiful site. We had Diamond lodge with hotub. It was immaculate and realy lovely top class. Lovely welcome pack as well."
Mary - Jul 2022
"We found the staff helpful and pleasant"
