Lovely welcome basket with cream tea for two and a freshly baked loaf from the excellent hosts Hazel and Stephen. On the border of Devon and Cornwall means you have the best of both and to top it off a luxurious hot tub to relax in a fter a day exploring the fabulous countryside and coast. We couldn't have asked for more, didn't want to leave and would love to visit again.
Gillian - Oct 2022
We had a lovely holiday, with our dog,Eva. As we walked into cabin at start, the smell of fresh bread greeted us, there was tea coffee biscuits and cream tea. The cabin was clean and welcoming, the area where we were was central to visiting places, jacuzzi was lovely , the cabin was comfortable and cosy. As we mentioned to hazel, out of respect we took our own bedding only because our dog sometimes sleep on our bed,and greets us in the morning, and she gets a bit hairy, look forward to return.
Andrea - Oct 2022
Lovely lodge in a quiet and secluded area for a much needed rest. Owners helpful and friendly. The lodge was well equipped and had everything you needed. The hot tub was a real treat for us and we enjoyed relaxing in it. Local pub a 10 minute walk and served a lovely Sunday roast. Would definitely recommend if you want a break away from it all.

Scott - Aug 2022
The lodge was very clean and had everything you could need. Hazel was the perfect host and brought over a basket of goodies and freshly baked bread on our arrival, which was really nice. The lodge is in a good location to explore Devon and Cornwall. We drove between 30-90 minutes to different beaches and towns and would recommend going to Woolacomb e Bay and Clovelly as well as the beaches in Bude. Lastly the hot tub was great, we really enjoyed it after a long day out.
Martin - Aug 2022
Lovely little lodge on owners site with great hot tub. Left alone to get on with own stuff. Personally matress not the most comfortable. Priced competitively, but I think UK is too expensive. Location is OK but a little remote, with a 30 min drive to anywhere worth visting. Be warned, Devon and Cornwall seem to be on a different time zone to rest o f country, we are from Birmingham where things are open all the time. Recommend a visit to the highwayman in Sourton for weirdness.
Andrew - Jul 2022
Lovely property and location, everything is there what you need. Hot tub is fantastic! Lovely places to visit near the property. Highly recommended!
Timothy - Jul 2022

Our dogs were well catered for with a secure garden. Couldnt wish for a nicer place for a holiday, loved every moment. Thank you both.
Jason - Jun 2022
We were made to feel welcome right from the start of our stay. Hazel and Stephen are fantastic hosts and we didn't want to leave. Nothing was too much trouble and Hazel was very helpful with Question we had. Any problems we had were sorted straight away. We did inform holiday cottages that this was our Honeymoon but this wasn't relayed to Hazel but she soon appeared with a bottle of chilled Prosecco for us to celebrate it. We would recommend this place to anyone & hope to book again.
Jo - Jun 2022

Fabulous lodge - it had everything we needed for a perfect getaway with our 4 legged friend. Great location, as a base for days out and a perfect spot for nights in with a great hot-tub and log-burner. It's out of the way enough to feel isolated, but close enough to things to visit places-if that makes sense !!?? And last but not least Hazel, our h ost - by far and away the friendliest and most helpful host we've ever had on a holiday. You won't regret this holiday. Steve, Carol and Morgan
