Mersea Island Holiday Park Reviews

"Honestly, were really impressed. The caravan feels so cosy and well-decorated and its super affordable too. Definitely worth every penny, no doubt about it!"
James - Nov 2023
"Really enjoyed the stay, lovely amenities and comfy caravan too."
Rachel - Nov 2023
"We stayed at this place recently and absolutely loved it. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the beach and plenty of nice eateries nearby. The staff were really friendly and our dog loved the thoughtful doggy gift. The caravan was spotless and well-stocked, making our weekend super relaxing. The heated pool was a real highlight, perfect for unwinding after a day out. Definitely recommend for a chilled getaway!"
Emma Carter - Nov 2023
"We stayed here recently and found the caravan to be spotless and in great condition, not showing any signs of wear. The park itself is beautifully maintained with a nice layout. It's more geared towards caravan owners, but if you're after a peaceful base on Mersea, this spot works perfectly."
Emma H. - Nov 2023
"Our Mersea Island Holiday Park review: We had a lovely stay in this caravan! It comfortably fit our group of 7, though the sofa bed isnt great for two adults, which is a bit of a shame. The doors are super squeaky and we had to WD40 them because they woke up the kids every time someone opened or closed them - pretty annoying, even during the day. The shower was really nice and having two toilets was a real plus, especially with a big group. Wed definitely book again, just maybe bring some door lubricant! The cleanliness was a minor issue; our 5-year-old found a 5p coin and a toy car in the cupboard within minutes of arriving, which made us wonder about the deep clean claim, especially since Covid measures meant we had a later check-in and an earlier check-out. Still, overall, a good stay!"
Emily Roberts - Jul 2020
"Absolutely loved it! Perfect mix of chill and serenity, cant wait to come back!"
Ella - Nov 2019
"Really appreciated how spotless and well-organised the caravan was. Plenty of room for everyone and all the essentials were there. We felt right at home! And its so handy having everything you need in one place. Will definitely stay again!"
Jane - Oct 2019
"Really enjoyed our stay, the vibe was just right for a quick break away."
Emma - Oct 2019

"We had a fantastic stay! Mersea Isl and is gorgeous, the caravan was cosy and well-equipped. The thoughtful touches like dog bags, blankets and toys really made us feel welcome. Definitely coming back!"
Emma - Jun 2019
"The caravan was really roomy, which was great with four adults and two kids. The en suite toilet was a lifesaver! Loved the secure gate on the decking - kept our little one safe. Just wish there was a teapot, that wouldve been perfect!"
Emma - Jun 2019
"Really enjoyed it, would come back again!"
Emily Roberts - Jun 2019
"We really appreciated the small details like the washing-up pack, bath mat and toilet brush provided."
Emma - Apr 2019
"Great savings, definitely worth checking out!"
Emma - Dec 2018
"Great experience, well definitely visit again soon!"
Emma - Nov 2018
"We had a fantastic stay! The caravan was spotless, super comfy and surprisingly roomy. It had everything we could possibly need. The lovely touch of a welcome pack for our pup made all the difference. Shes still snuggling her blanket and toy - she loved it! Definitely recommend."
Emma Clarke - Nov 2018
"Overall, we had a good stay, but there were a few little hiccups. When we arrived, our caravan wasnt as clean as wed hoped - toiletries from the last guests were still in the cupboard and there was cat litter under the sink, which was a bit off-putting. The microwave also didnt work, but since we didnt really need it, we didnt bother reporting it. We stayed in Poplars number 41 and had requested to be near the other families in our group. We were in the same row, but it wouldve been nicer if wed been next to each other! Still, it was a nice break overall."
Emma - Jul 2018
"Really enjoyed our weekend-found everything we needed in the caravan, perfect for our pets too!"
Emma - Jul 2018
"Really enjoyed the stay"
Emma - Jun 2018
"Simple but comfy, nothing fancy really. Pretty relaxing though."
Laura M. - Jun 2018
"Really enjoyed our stay! The spot is so peaceful and having the pets allowed made it even better for the whole family."
Emily - May 2018
"The sofa bed isnt great for adults, honestly. We found it more comfy just sleeping on the sofa."
Emma - Apr 2018
"We really enjoyed our stay - the caravan was lovely and cosy. The dogs loved their treats and the bottle of prosecco was a nice touch. Would definitely come again!"

Rachel - Jul 2022
"Beautiful, meticulously clean caravans. Really spacious too (we had 2 x 3 bed caravans). The site is really quiet, right on the seafront, and all other caravan users were really friendly. Great seafood stall on site - delicious! Highly recommend."
Sarah - Jul 2022
"We had a great holiday here, it was the perfect sized park. The facilities were easy to access and it was great to be by the beach and have access to a pool. There’s a great kids park near by. The staff were lovely and the caravan just right. Thank you so much."
Lucy - Jul 2022
"Lovely holiday park, not too big. Pool and private beach access as well as play park on site. Small clubhouse and shop also, would have been nice to have a choice of takeaway available but the town is only a short drive away. Overall a nice place for a short break."
Kelly - Jun 2022
"Really happy with my jubilee weekend. The caravan was lovely and clean. The area was nice but the weather wasn't great. A nice kiddie play area was available but it would have been great to have one onsite. Luckily our kids were able to swim otherwise no swimming slots available for an adult. Overall a happy customer."
Adela - Jun 2022
"Didn't need much help as everything ran quite smoothly once we arrived. But they nicely allowed us to leave our bags in the garage until our cab came. Which was really nice of them. Would definitely come back and would definitely bring friends back with me. Thanks for a lovely break away."
Katrina - Jun 2022
"Very peaceful get for dogs loved my weekend will definitely be going back"
