North Shore Holiday Park Reviews

"This lodge was absolutely amazing, clean, comfortable and plenty big enough for the 6 of us for the week.We got a lovely surprise when we arrived in the form of a private hot tub, these arent advertised so it was a very welcome surprise. My family and I would definitely stay again, the lodge had everything we needed for our stay and more."
Hannah - Aug 2024
"Smaller caravan than originally paid for but did have a balcony and patio furniture"
Verified Guest - Aug 2024
"quite clean but it was clear that the cleaners did not pull out the sofa beds in the living room as there were crisps and a toy left underneath them"
Verified Guest - Jul 2024
"Superb lodge. Everything u would want was in the lodge. Clean, well equipped, almost perfect. Lots of sitting options inside and out and a massive TVIf I could suggest one improvement, it would be more supportive mattresses. I do have a fussy back and we always take a topper with us to help with support. I accept this issue is subjective due to people having different requirements but I found my backside hitting the bed base. I am heavy though."
Phil - Jul 2024
"Perfect value for money , excellent accommodation very clean park in a great location"

"Everything perfect"
Raymond - Apr 2024
"Lovely caravan suitable for someone in a wheelchair. The only downside is the gate doesnt have a catch to keep it open which is a problem when pushing a wheelchair up the ramp in windy conditions, which is often in Skegness."
Teresa - Mar 2024
"Brilliant holiday apartment, has everything you need, feels like being at home."
Louis - Mar 2024
"Lovely comfy spacious apartment"
Verified Guest - Mar 2024
"Caravan had absolutely no drawers in any of the rooms and the kitchen cupboards were taken up by equipment so only left one small cupboard for our groceries"
Margaret - Mar 2024
"Not of gold standard compared to other gold caravans that we have stayed in"
Verified Guest - Mar 2024
"Caravan was modern and comfortable apart from beds which we found too firm but May suit others more. The handle on the only large knife was broken and the frying pan was small but we used the grill instead. The microwave was also a grill and oven, some instructions would have been handy. Overall though, these were just minor things."
Joan - Mar 2024
"A lovely accessable caravan, good value for money too."
Tracy Gudgeon - Mar 2024
"Lovely place"
Rachel - Nov 2023
"Lovely apartments clean with all essentials needed ????"
Natalie - Nov 2023
"Decent location but quite dated and not a lot to do on the site plus really free wifi now is a given but here thats not the case"
CHRISTOPHER - Nov 2023
"The apartment was good (micro, kettle, oven, fridge worked perfectly). The beds were comfy. No handtowel."
Eszter - Nov 2023
"Very basic in terms of creature comforts and personal experience. 1. Requires coat hook on the wall for hanging coats2. Hooks on backs of bedroom doors to hang dressing gown etc3. An airer to dry towels on or extra hooks in the wet room ???? 4. A clean mop head to clean & dry wet room floor5. In an age where infection control is high on the agenda it's a requirement and a basic need. If you provide this equipment then I use it."
Anne - Nov 2023
"Lovely place,well equipped."
David - Nov 2023
"we booked a gold 8 but were given a pet 8 not enough seats for our party. dust round radiators toe nail clipping under radiator dog fur found. only glasses and cutlery for 6 and bedding for 6. reception waste of time didnt want to know just sent extra bits and pieces"
David - Nov 2023
"I would not go back"
Ebony - Nov 2023
"The platinum 3 bed lodge wonderful 5 out of 5 maybe better quality pillows"

"Can't praise North Shore Holiday Park enough, our apartment was excellent, we couldn't have wanted anything better . Clean, comfortable , plenty of space. The site was clean, there is a shop on site. We didn't try any of the amenities, but there is a couple of bars, bingo if wanted, kids play areas, I could go on ! It's Near to Skegness beach and sea front entertainment. Ingoldmels is a short bus ride a way, with fantasy island and markets. Needless to say we enjoyed our short break away tremendously."
Georgina - Jul 2022

From the outset on arrival, the reception staff were informative and friendly to the cleanliness of the van and the facilities in and around the site. A thoroughly enjoyable stay and would highly recommend North Shore Holiday Park."

Attractions Near North Shore Holiday Park

Here are some of the activities and experiences you can enjoy on your visit to North Shore Holiday Park. If you discover a worthy inclusion to this list on your hot tub break, please let us know and we'll add it so that other visitors can enjoy it too.
Natureland Seal Sanctuary - PE25 1DB
about 0 Miles
Awarded the Lincolnshire Family Attraction of the Year award in recent years this fun day out is recommended. You can see seals and penguins, as well as other animals in the popular pets corner.  Feeding time for the seals and penguins is the real highlight of the day. Entertainment, education and conservation are the main aims of this attraction. Natureland's work with abandoned baby seals has become known worldwide and it's carefully researched rearing and treatment program is now used by many other rescue centres.
Rushmoor Country Park - GU10 1ET
about 19 Miles
Located in Louth in Lincolnshire this is an ideal attraction when you want to get out in the fresh air and explore. There are many animals to see including ponies and piglets which the little ones love.  There are also some amazing birds from hawks and falcons to owls.  Most aspects of this attraction are included in the admission cost and as well as wandering around you get to hold and feed the animals too.  A real highlight are the micro pigs which are just like real pigs but in miniature.  Fully grown they are around the size of a spaniel!  If you get hungry then you can take your own picnic to the picnic areas or head for the tea room selling delicious food and children's meals too.
Pleasure Island - DN35 0PL
about 30 Miles
Wow this is an amazing family theme park and you will probably need the full day to experience it all.  From thrilling rides to family shows, kids of all ages are catered for.  Some of the most popular rides include the Obliterator and The Pendulus, not forgetting the Hypoblaster.   Family shows are entertaining such as the African Acrobat Show which is back by popular demand.  Entrance tickets are good value and if you book online you will receive a discount. To save even more money if you live locally or are visiting the area for a few weeks you could buy a season ticket for around £50 which will allow you entry for the whole season.
The Jungle Zoo - NR31 9EY
about 30 Miles
Centred around a Tropical House in an amazing jungle like setting this is a really unique attraction that will appeal to families.  In the Cleethorpes area of Lincolnshire it's easy to get to and offers a fun yet educational experience.  Referred to as the number one attraction in the area highlights include capuchin monkeys, meerkats, ring tailed lemur and for the children African pygmy goats.  The tropical house features Red Eared and other Terrapins from North America and goldfish amongst other things.  We think The Jungle Zoo represents excellent value for money too.  We recommend a whole day to explore this attraction and ensure you get to see all of the animals resident there.
Bishops Boats Seal Trips - NR23 1RY
about 31 Miles
This is a really unique attraction running daily seal watching trips from the middle of March right through to the end of October.  The experienced skippers will lead you out on one of the traditional wooden boats where you will have the chance to see both common and grey seals.  If you love animals then this is one attraction not to be missed! They also do some boat trips combined with guides on dry land such as seal watching combined with a visit to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve, owned by the National Trust.  We think this attraction is excellent value for money as they keep their admission prices low.
Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens - NR21 0LN
about 32 Miles
if you and your family are interested in nature and wildlife then Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens is the perfect place for a day out. This beautiful area of national parkland is home to a huge range of common and rare birds from sparrows to Red Crowned Cranes and also has a red squirrel enclosure - part of a conservation programme and now home to a family of adorable squirrels. Other activities to enjoy at Pensthorpe include pond dipping and Landrover discovery tours. Pensthorpe also played host to BBC'S Springwatch in 2010.
Sheringham Park - NR26 8TL
about 38 Miles
The National Trust Sheringham Park in Norfolk was designed by Humphry Repton and the book of original designs can still be seen. The park has many attractions including a viewing tower and a gazebo with amazing coastal views, wildlife trails which young children will love and an exhibition barn where visitors can learn the history of the park.
