About Skegness Fields

Looking for a quiet getaway? Skegness Fields is a great choice for larger groups of friends or family wanting to stay together out of the hectic town centre – but just close enough to be able to drive in when you want!

Set-in wide-open farmland, there’s plenty of space to relax or let the kids explore on their way to the on-site children’s park. So why not take a look at just some of the contemporary lodges and caravans on offer at Skegness and start planning your next holiday!

Bring the whole family to enjoy a stay in the Platinum Caravan at Skegness Fields, which handily sleeps up to eight people over three bedrooms.  Extra for two people can be transformed from the lounge area.  This luxurious caravan is even complete with a flatscreen television, Wi-Fi, and your own private hot tub to use during your stay – as well as garden furniture on the decking for when you don’t feel like taking a dip!

If you’d prefer a lodge, then take a look at their platinum choice – it’s sure to live up to its name! The Platinum Lodge sleeps up to six people over three bedrooms; one double and two twin. With a dishwasher included specifically in this lodge, there’s no need to spend extra time clearing away – make the most of your time in Skegness exploring or embracing the peaceful grounds of Skegness Fields in your outdoor hot tub.

When it’s time to get out and explore, Skegness Fields is in an ideal location, only a short drive away from the town centre where there’s plenty to do! Roughly a fifteen minute drive away is Gunby Estate, Hall & Gardens, where history enthusiasts can explore the 18th century country house and admire eight acres of gardens. Stop off for a quick coffee or cake and pay a visit to the second-hand bookshop where the Joiners’ Workshop used to be!

Any young animal lovers will crave a trip to Skegness Aquarium to learn about the world under the sea. From zebra sharks to red emperor snappers, there’s plenty to see and find out more about! But if they prefer animals of the extinct kind, then you’ll want to make good use of your ticket which includes entry to Jurassic Falls, where visitors can interact with over twenty incredible dinosaurs, some of which are even animatronic! Feeling extra brave? Why not book a dive session before your visit! It’s sure to make your holiday one to remember.

Keen golfers should head over to Skegness Golf Centre to play one of the longest nine-hole golf courses in Lincolnshire or practice their swing on the driving range! Stock up on equipment at the pro shop and meet the rest of the family and friends at the clubhouse and bar for a drink before heading back to Skegness Fields.

Teenagers and thrill-seekers should visit Fantasy Island for an adrenaline fuelled day on over thirty rides. Brave visitors can experience the twists and turns that The Odyssey takes you on, as well as the epic loop-de-loop of The Millennium, whilst those who’d prefer something a bit calmer can enjoy The Jets or Firebowl.

If rides aren’t your cup of tea, explore Ingoldmells market – Europe’s largest seven-day market, consisting of over three-hundred and twenty stalls! Selling art, clothes and everything in-between, you’re sure to be in safe hands if you’ve left anything at home – or even a souvenir to take home with you as a reminder of your trip. Grab a bite to eat at Ingoldmells before heading back into the excitement of the park – you’ll appreciate the comfy beds of Skegness Fields even more at the end of the long day!

Skegness Fields Reviews

"Great lodge"
Dave - Mar 2025
"The fixture and fittings were immaculate"
Bev - Mar 2025
"We stayed in a platinum pet friendly lodge with hottub and overall I'd give a 4/5.The lodge itself was modern and big, cleanliness wasn't great - fridge hadn't been cleaned, mattress protector dirty. The hottub wasn't useable the first day, I understand this has to warm up from previous empty and clean but when you can check in from 2 we would expect to use the hot tub that evening at least. The site itself is lovely, clean and quiet which for us was great. We had an issue with the front door which was sorted right away and an issue with the oven, which again was sorted straight away.Location was lovely, walkable pub and shop withing 15 mins, skegness itself 5 mins in the car, would be walkable.Recommendations would be to have a TV in the bedroom as this was missing and fill the hottub with hot water to quicken up the warming process for new guests.Would we stay again, 100%, just the cleanliness of the smaller details would be ideal."
Rachel - Nov 2024
"Lodge was stunning. Really clean and felt like a home away from home. Comfortable and classy. Will be booking again!"
Carla - Nov 2024
"Our Skegness Fields review: we spent a weekend in platinum lodge, the caravan was great, the only problem we had was a terrible smell in the main toilet, which was noticeable even after cleaning. during our stay we had a problem with the boiler, we tried to call the out of hours number, unfortunately no one answered. luckily we restarted the boiler and the heating started working. the distance from the beach is quite far. despite these inconveniences we had a great time."
Dorota - Oct 2024
"We paid and booked two lodges that should have been the same and were given one of the lodges that we had booked and one was completely different. I questioned this and we were told it was just for illustration purposes the pictures that are advertised. So how can one be like the pictures and one totally different surely thats why you look at pictures before you book so you know what you are booking? I feel we were given one lodge that was a lot cheaper than the ones we had paid for. I have tried contacted by email about this issue with no responses back. All the outside furniture was broken on arrival also when should have been identified. We will not return"
Ellen - Oct 2024
"We stayed in a platinum lodge, and to say it was the nicest and well equipped accommodation we have ever stayed in, and we holiday a number of times throughout the year in the UK. When we arrived we had a bottle of milk in the fridge, and a washing up pack that contained washing up liquid, sponge, cloth, and t-towel, but most importantly two dishwasher tablets which allowed us to stock up the dishwasher throughout our stay and not do any washing up by hand on holiday. We may full use of the very warm jacuzzi. The large smart television in the living room was on a light changing media wall and was excellent. The space of the lodge is double the width of a standard caravan and really makes it spacious, and give a home from home feeling. We got the lodge at a good price, my only concern is looking at the prices for out of season next year they are considerably more - don't put people off by having unaffordable prices."
Ben - Oct 2024
"Nice clean, spacious accommodation.Would recommend.."
Robert - Sep 2024
"Lovely Caravan fully furnished for a holiday. If it turns chilly you also have an electric fire plus central heating. Lovely power shower and good kitchen and dining area.Lovely decking and we both really enjoyed the hot tub."
Sandra - Sep 2024
"My fault slightly that I booked a pet caravan without a pet but I don't feel it was very clean and was showing its age. There is no light above the hot tub and the caravan was freezing with no instructions on how to turn the heating on the radiators. Looked like they were on but no heat?!"
Verified Guest - Sep 2024
"The double bed wasnt the comfiest as it had that roll into the middle effect but otherwise everything was perfect"
Gillian - Sep 2024
"I would certainly recommend this lodge to anyone who wishes to stay here, its huge and is just like a home away from home."
Daniel - Sep 2024
"Lovely lodge just needed a bit of extra cleaning/tidying"
Shani - Aug 2024
"Had everything we neededGreat location. Lots to do in and around Skegness Nice and quiet. No Friendly staff"
Jane - Aug 2024
"Excellent site beautiful caravan"
Sharon - Aug 2024
"We had a lovely stay here for 1 week. Nice quiet site, with play park for kids but easy drive into Skegness for the beach etc. caravan was fine, beds were comfy. The carpet hadnt been hoovered and was loads of hair not great with a baby crawling around! Also the caravan could have been improved if there was tables and chairs to use on the veranda. Also no toaster! Not a massive problem but when trying to do breakfast for 5 people with no toaster is quite tricky! Apart from that we did have a nice stay and we would return again."
Verified Guest - Aug 2024
"Caravan and site very clean. Hot tub. Great. Staff very helpful and went out of their way to do anything. Cannot recommend enough. Weve booked again for next year."
Belinda - Aug 2024
"Beautiful caravan. Extremely clean and very welcoming. The hot tub was lovely and clean"
Lindsey - Aug 2024
"Very nice caravan with hot tub really enjoyed and very peaceful friendly staff hot tub was fantastic"
Beverley - Aug 2024
"Skegness fields is a great site excellent location but far enough from the main strip . Caravans spotless and site is kept very tidy would definitely recommend"
Verified Guest - Aug 2024
"Quiet site no club house or pool but you have access to a sister site"
Terrie - Aug 2024
"We had a nice stay Quiet site"
Nichola - Jul 2024
"Hot tub want cleaned on outside surrounded no it, was scum still on the hot tub"
Verified Guest - Jul 2024
"Caravan was beautiful and clean as was the site but we were a bit puzzled as to why there was no outdoor furniture to use as the place did have a veranda/patio area so apart from using the dinning roomchairs you couldn't enjoy sitting outside also there was no welcome pack, a small niggle I know, but when we have booked a caravan/trailer before for a break there has always been one included"
Verified Guest - Jul 2024
"Brilliant time, couldnt recommend more and will be returning. Caravan was plenty big and the hot tub was perfect. Only a short drive into Skegness which had plenty of options and Ingoldmells is only a 30 minute drive away at most. The caravan was also lovely and clean !"
Leonie - Jun 2024
"Excellent holiday very clean we both had a wonderful 7 nights was a relaxing holiday for us"
Anne - Jun 2024
"brilliant enjoyed it, quiet and relaxing close to other sites and amenities, car ride or bus ride away from Skegness and ingoldmells, would recommend to others."
Mandy - Jun 2024
"Good caravan. No complaints at all. Just wish a shop & restaurant was on site."
Verified Guest - Jun 2024
"Great lodge"
Dave - May 2024
"One of the best places I have ever stayed! Literally got what we paid for! The lodge was spectacular"
Chloe - Jul 2022
"Excellent throughout, brilliant accommodation with everything you could wish for, easy check in and really helpful staff. Quiet location but easy travel with car to all local sights, great for the dogs with lovely walks."
Jane - Jul 2022
"Excellent location. A Tesco only a few minutes down the road which was perfect for shopping, there was also a Lidl, Morrisons and Asda for anyone who doesn’t like Tesco. Only a 5 minute drive from the coach and the promenade. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful when we needed a bit more help during our checking in time."
Holly - Jul 2022
"Beautiful Lodge. Really nice gesture leaving welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, milk and bottle of prosecco. Enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi . Will definitely be returning."
Pearl - Jul 2022
"Excellent lodge, very clean, hot tub added bonus would definitely stay here again"
Catherine - Jul 2022
"Stunning surroundings, lovely and peaceful stay. Was nice to stay somewhere that you couldn’t hear people coming back from the pub. We really enjoyed it and will definitely be back again"
Kelly - Jul 2022
"Clean tidy location, good peaceful and not too busy overall relaxing time enjoyed by all."
Stephen - Jul 2022
"Fabulous Lodge in a quiet spot, larger than expected clean and new.Hot tub was superb. Very enjoyable stay."
David - Jul 2022
"Good location and nice quiet site but close enough to Skegness. Great for a short break ,bedrooms were small compared to other Hoeseasons lodges we have been to."
Malcolm - Jul 2022
"It was amazing, clean and the location was so close by to everything yet when ur at the field it doesnt feel like you are. The only downside i would say is i feel like customers should be provided with more than just 1 loo roll and also washing up liquid as essentials. But apart from that it was amazing and i would deffo go again. ( we went as 2 adults and 2 kids aged 4 and 1, everyone loved it)."
Sonya - Jul 2022
"Excellent family weekend away. Had the platinum lodge with hot tub and it was amazing. The lodge wasn’t as clean as I would have expected, but it was a great weekend. Park is lovely and quiet, but had a caravan of lads at the back of us that were playing loud inappropriate music late into the night. Other than that it was amazing. Would go back in a heart beat. Kids and wife already want to go back already"
Kelly - Jul 2022
"Lovely lodge in a peaceful area."
John - Jun 2022
"Quiet peaceful site, 35 minute walk into skegness, we visited ingoldmells and Gibraltar Point, which were both just a short drive away. Close enough to walk to the welcome Inn, which has a great outdoor seating area."

Attractions Near Skegness Fields

Here are some of the activities and experiences you can enjoy on your visit to Skegness Fields. If you discover a worthy inclusion to this list on your hot tub break, please let us know and we'll add it so that other visitors can enjoy it too.
Natureland Seal Sanctuary - PE25 1DB
about 1 Mile
Awarded the Lincolnshire Family Attraction of the Year award in recent years this fun day out is recommended. You can see seals and penguins, as well as other animals in the popular pets corner.  Feeding time for the seals and penguins is the real highlight of the day. Entertainment, education and conservation are the main aims of this attraction. Natureland's work with abandoned baby seals has become known worldwide and it's carefully researched rearing and treatment program is now used by many other rescue centres.
Rushmoor Country Park - GU10 1ET
about 19 Miles
Located in Louth in Lincolnshire this is an ideal attraction when you want to get out in the fresh air and explore. There are many animals to see including ponies and piglets which the little ones love.  There are also some amazing birds from hawks and falcons to owls.  Most aspects of this attraction are included in the admission cost and as well as wandering around you get to hold and feed the animals too.  A real highlight are the micro pigs which are just like real pigs but in miniature.  Fully grown they are around the size of a spaniel!  If you get hungry then you can take your own picnic to the picnic areas or head for the tea room selling delicious food and children's meals too.
Pleasure Island - DN35 0PL
about 29 Miles
Wow this is an amazing family theme park and you will probably need the full day to experience it all.  From thrilling rides to family shows, kids of all ages are catered for.  Some of the most popular rides include the Obliterator and The Pendulus, not forgetting the Hypoblaster.   Family shows are entertaining such as the African Acrobat Show which is back by popular demand.  Entrance tickets are good value and if you book online you will receive a discount. To save even more money if you live locally or are visiting the area for a few weeks you could buy a season ticket for around £50 which will allow you entry for the whole season.
The Jungle Zoo - NR31 9EY
about 30 Miles
Centred around a Tropical House in an amazing jungle like setting this is a really unique attraction that will appeal to families.  In the Cleethorpes area of Lincolnshire it's easy to get to and offers a fun yet educational experience.  Referred to as the number one attraction in the area highlights include capuchin monkeys, meerkats, ring tailed lemur and for the children African pygmy goats.  The tropical house features Red Eared and other Terrapins from North America and goldfish amongst other things.  We think The Jungle Zoo represents excellent value for money too.  We recommend a whole day to explore this attraction and ensure you get to see all of the animals resident there.
Bishops Boats Seal Trips - NR23 1RY
about 32 Miles
This is a really unique attraction running daily seal watching trips from the middle of March right through to the end of October.  The experienced skippers will lead you out on one of the traditional wooden boats where you will have the chance to see both common and grey seals.  If you love animals then this is one attraction not to be missed! They also do some boat trips combined with guides on dry land such as seal watching combined with a visit to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve, owned by the National Trust.  We think this attraction is excellent value for money as they keep their admission prices low.
Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens - NR21 0LN
about 32 Miles
if you and your family are interested in nature and wildlife then Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens is the perfect place for a day out. This beautiful area of national parkland is home to a huge range of common and rare birds from sparrows to Red Crowned Cranes and also has a red squirrel enclosure - part of a conservation programme and now home to a family of adorable squirrels. Other activities to enjoy at Pensthorpe include pond dipping and Landrover discovery tours. Pensthorpe also played host to BBC'S Springwatch in 2010.
Sheringham Park - NR26 8TL
about 39 Miles
The National Trust Sheringham Park in Norfolk was designed by Humphry Repton and the book of original designs can still be seen. The park has many attractions including a viewing tower and a gazebo with amazing coastal views, wildlife trails which young children will love and an exhibition barn where visitors can learn the history of the park.
