St Ives Bay Holiday Park Reviews

"Clean, affordable and overall a good experience."
James - Apr 2025
"We found the place quite cosy, with everything laid out nicely. The shower was decent and the bed super comfy, which made our stay enjoyable."
Emma Carter - Mar 2025
"Our stay was really comfy and hassle-free. Being disabled, the chalet next to the parking was a total lifesaver. Made everything so much easier for us. Thanks a lot for the great experience!"
Emma Carter - Mar 2025
"The en-suite in the bedroom was a real bonus and we loved the decking with chairs - perfect for relaxing and taking in the view. Parking right beside the caravan made things so much easier. The bed was a bit on the short side and the settee wasnt super comfy, but overall, it was okay for our six-night stay. Not perfect, but pretty decent!"
Emma Carter - Mar 2025
"Our St Ives Bay Holiday Park review: We recently stayed in a pet-friendly Stargazer caravan with a hot tub and honestly, it was a lovely escape. The place was spotless and had everything we needed - really comfortable and well-equipped. The best part? The beach is just a short two-minute walk away, so we spent plenty of time soaking up the sunshine, watching surfers and our dog loved mingling with other pups and owners. The walk back up from the beach is a bit steep, so might be tricky for anyone with mobility issues, just a heads up. We also found that sometimes we had the whole beach to ourselves, which was pretty special! The staff were super friendly and happy to help whenever we needed. Our toaster broke, but they sorted out a replacement the same day, no fuss. One small thing - our puppys only five months old and the caravan didnt have a gate, so we had to use the coffee table to keep him safe when outside or with the door open. We didnt bother with the on-site facilities since we went out every day. Thanks, Away Resorts, for a really lovely break!"
Chloe - Mar 2025
"Very cosy stay"
Emma - Feb 2025
"We loved the gadgets, but honestly, there were no instructions at all. Made using the coffee machine and heater tricky!"
Rachel - Feb 2025
"The pull-out bed was a bit grimy, so we couldnt use it, but overall the facilities had everything we needed. Loved the bath in the room and the hot tubs stunning views made our stay special!"
Emma Clarke - Feb 2025
"We stayed in this caravan recently and honestly, it was great value for what we paid. The view of the sea was lovely and even though its a quiet spot, it didnt feel overlooked at all. The hot tub was definitely a highlight - really relaxing after a day out. The bedroom bath was a lovely touch, made the stay a bit more special. There were a few little cleanliness issues, like some crumbs and crisp packets under the sofa, but nothing too serious. The sofa itself was a bit broken, but it looks like the owners have tried to fix it with a block of wood. Hopefully, itll be sorted soon! Wed definitely come back."
Charlotte - Feb 2025
"We loved the place, the scenery was breathtaking. A heads up about some facilities being closed out of season wouldve helped. Still, the beach made everything worthwhile, honestly!"
Emma - Jan 2025
"The chalet is spacious and spotless, really comfortable beds too. Lovely stay!"
Emma - Jan 2025
"Mostly good experience, but the frying pan wasnt great and the glass was a bit grubby."
Emily Carter - Dec 2024
"We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back again soon!"
Emma - Dec 2024
"Really comfy furniture, but the cushions could do with replacing."
Clara Montgomery - Nov 2024
"Great experience, highly recommend it! I think"
Emma - Nov 2024
"We had a fantastic weekend at this modern chalet. The place was spotless and well-equipped for self-catering, which made things really easy for us. The electric heating kept everything cosy and those sea views in November were just lovely to wake up to. Overall, a really enjoyable stay!"
Emma - Nov 2024
"Nice design but not comfy"
Emma Clarke - Nov 2024
"We loved the location, really close to Hayle, Penzance and St Ives. The beaches are absolutely stunning!"
Emma - Nov 2024
"We had such a brilliant week! Stayed for the October half term and honestly, the Stargazer with the hot tub made it special. We've visited a few times before, but this time, it felt like home. The place had everything we needed and was fully stocked with all the essentials. Cant imagine staying anywhere else now!"
Emma - Nov 2024
"Honestly, I expected better from the place. The double bed was so dreadful I had to crash on the sitting room bench to save my back, which still hurts! The caravan was tidy, but calling it superior feels a bit of a stretch. Honestly, some decent mattress toppers would make a huge difference. Definitely not worth the hype."
Emma Carter - Nov 2024
"We had an awesome time! The place was perfect for our 2 kids, aged 7 and 9."
James - Nov 2024
"We stayed in a chalet for the first time instead of our usual caravans and it was lovely! Really cosy and perfect for the family. Everyone enjoyed it a lot."
Sam - Oct 2024
"We had such a lovely weekend in Cornwall! The location really is what makes it special-stunning beaches and breathtaking views that well never forget. The heating in the caravan was out when we arrived, but they sorted it out quickly, so no big deal. The evening entertainment was great fun, especially the Boo Crew-they really gave it their all. Bingo nights were a blast too! Definitely planning to return soon."
Jamie - Oct 2024
"Not quite the luxury we were expecting."
Emma Carter - Oct 2024
"We had a really lovely stay, just what we needed for a quick getaway. Stayed in one of the older chalet-style cabins with our dog and it was pretty much perfect for us. The beds were super comfy and the linen spotless, though the place could do with a bit of a refresh - honestly, it didnt bother us at all. The site itself is huge, with loads of amenities and easy access to the dunes and beach, which was great. Theres plenty of newer accommodation options that look really nice too, so were definitely planning to come back and try those next time. Locations spot on, right on the ring road, so exploring was a breeze. Overall, a cracking holiday and well be returning for sure!"
Emily - Oct 2024
"We had an amazing stay at this lodge! The location was beautiful and the hot tub was a real treat. Every room was thoughtfully decorated and the kids loved having TVs in each room. Can't wait to return someday!"
Emma Carter - Oct 2024
"Overall, the chalet was pretty decent. The essentials were there, like a good fridge and comfy beds. Wouldve liked a few more kitchen gadgets though. Nice and clean considering pets have stayed before."
Samira - Oct 2024
"Beautiful lodge, just what we needed for weekend."
Emma Carter - Oct 2024
