Great stay, definitely rebooking next time!
Emma - Jul 2024
We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The inside was bright and spacious, with comfy bedrooms and a nice living area. The hot tub was perfect after a day out. It’s in a great spot for exploring - we managed trips to Oswestry, Shrewsburyand Betws-y-Coed despite the weather. Tucked away down a long drive, it was super peaceful with lovely views over the fields. The hosts were friendly and helpful, especially with fishing tips. Would definitely recommend!
Emma - Jun 2024
The location was perfect for exploring Shrewsbury and nearby areas. The house was beautifully decorated and super clean, making us feel right at home. Loved waking up to the peaceful view of open fields from the ground floor bedroom. Definitely a relaxing stay!
Laura - May 2024
We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely, peaceful place. It’s got such a cosy yet modern vibe that instantly made us feel at home. The hot tub was definitely the best part, offering stunning views that kept us all entertained. There’s plenty of scenic walks right from the doorstepand the area is packed with fun activities. Our daughters’ quad biking for her 8th birthday was definitely a highlight - she’s still talking about it! Definitely recommend.

We stayed in this charming, modern cottage and loved how spotless and well-equipped it was. The location was perfect for relaxing walks and a short stroll to the local pub-just don’t forget the torch if you’re out late! The bed was ridiculously comfyand the quality of the linens and towels really stood out. The hot tub was a lovely bonus. Colin was super helpful and accommodating-definitely a place we’d come back to!

This cosy little cottage was perfect for our week, comfy and well placed indeed.
Emily - Sep 2023
We arrived from Canada with no hassle, thanks to Colin’s help. He kindly offered to take us to a nearby supermarket to get everything we needed for the week. The cottage itself was lovely - bright, clean, spacious and super comfy. Colin’s attention to the hot tub was a nice touch. While public transit is an option, having a car would’ve been easier. We’d definitely come back if we could. Cheers, Colin!
Emma - Jul 2023
We had a lovely stay at this cosy cottage. The hosts were super friendly and made us feel very welcome from the start. The place was spotless and well-equipped, with everything we needed, including a washer and dryer which was a lifesaver with the little ones. The hot tub was fantastic, offering stunning views over the fields. Plus, it’s close to local attractions, parksand a really good Indian restaurant nearby. Definitely recommend!

The cottage was in a stunning setting, really private and peaceful. The facilities were great and the wifi worked perfectly. After a day of exploring, the hot tub was just what we needed! The owners were super friendly and full of tips about local attractions. We enjoyed a fantastic few days there.
Vicky - Sep 2022
The cottage was super clean and well equipped, which really contributed to a relaxing stay for us. The owners were lovely and very helpful. Plus, the property is in a nice quiet spot but just a short drive to local amenities. We couldn't have asked for more! It really made our getaway enjoyable. Overall, a great experience and we’d definitely return!
Stevie B - Aug 2022
We had a great experience! The owners were super helpful and always around if we needed anything. The cottage itself was generally of a good standard, nice and clean with everything we needed for our stay. It's a lovely spot to unwind and enjoy some time away. Overall, we really enjoyed our time there and would recommend it to others looking for a nice getaway. Just a tip though, maybe check the directions beforehand, we got a bit lost!
Ricky D - Jun 2022
This was such a comfy and relaxing spot for exploring the Welsh-English border! It was always a lovely place to come back to after a tiring day of adventures, especially with the thought of chilling in the hot tub while overlooking the fields by the River Severn. We really enjoyed it here!
Christina H - May 2022
We had a lovely stay at this cottage! The setting is super attractive and really adds to the overall experience. Everything was spotless and the decor was just charming! It's clear a lot of care went into making it feel welcoming. Perfect for a relaxing getaway. We definitely recommend it! Just a minor detail, but we noticed one little spelling error in the guestbook—nothing too serious, though! Overall, a fantastic place to unwind.
Sara H - Feb 2022
What a lovely place! It was really clean and had all the equipment we needed and even more. The owners were super friendly and very helpful too. The hot tub is just the right size, and the location of the cottage is brilliant. We had a fantastic time and can't wait to come back!
Rich T - Dec 2021
This cottage is just fantastic! It’s set in such a lovely, quiet area, perfect for some relaxation. We had everything we needed, and the quality is top-notch. We spent two nights over New Year and it was just right for our post-Xmas unwind. The hot tub with those views over the fields is simply spot on! The owner was super welcoming and clearly takes pride in the property. I’d definitely recommend it in this gorgeous part of Shropshire - great for exploring!
Andy P - Oct 2021
This cottage is just fantastic for a family or two couples, like we had! It's so clean and finished to a high standard. We loved how remote it is, not overlooked at all, which made the hot tub experience even better with views over the open fields. We walked to all three local pubs, with two of them being under a mile away and the Royal Hill about 2.5 miles off. Great food, staff, and drinks at a very reasonable price! Colin, the owner, is nearby and super helpful and friendly. Don’t hesitate!
ZoeyB - Sep 2021
We absolutely loved our stay! The house is in an ideal location, which made exploring a breeze. The host was super helpful and always available if we needed anything. It's such a lovely place to stay—so relaxing, comfortable, and peaceful. We can't recommend it enough! Seriously, if you’re looking for a getaway, you won’t regret this one. Just perfect!
