About Otter Falls

Enviably located in the beautiful countryside of Devon, Otterfalls is surround by lush greenery, sparkling lakes and beautiful woodlands in 120 acres of unspoilt Otter valley.

The setting is perfect for those wishing for a peaceful holiday with high quality accommodation and abundant facilities.

Otterfalls has numerous facilities on site like an impressive indoor heated swimming pool with a sunbathing terrace, sauna, a games room with a pool table and an all-weather tennis course. There is also a 9-hole putting course on site for summer use.

The location of the holiday park is a perfect base to explore the sandy beaches and the vibrant villages of Dartmoor and Exmoor. There is a bar and bistro onsite to enjoy a quiet night relaxing.  Children will love the play area on site.

There is a wide range of contemporary lodges to choose from. The Long Barn Cottage with hot tub comes highly recommended from us. It is a single storey cottage with 2 bedrooms and additional sleeping for two people is available. The lodge also comes equipped with a log burner and outdoor hot tub.

For a large gathering of people, The Shire Stables Cottage is the perfect choice. This cottage sleeps up to 10 people and has three floors: ground floor with lounge and doors to enclosed patio, kitchen and one single and twin bedroom. First floor has a single and a master bedroom with the mezzanine floor having the super king bedroom. The cottage also has open fire, barbecue and an outdoor hot tub adds to the luxurious feel.

The land surrounding the area have beautiful cycling and walking routes like Honiton’s Circular route or the Grand western canal in Tiverton, with sweeping vistas of Blackdown hills.

Charmouth and Sidmouth are two beaches within close proximity giving you the chance to spend the day at the beach enjoying the sea. The Scuba Scene is the perfect place to get a diving lesson.

You can also explore the Jurassic Heritage coast from Otterfalls which is known for its stunning vistas and is one of the most famous fossil sites in Europe. The cosy village of Upottery also has pubs and the fishing village of Beer and the romantic Lyme Regis are all a short ride away.

Otterfalls is the perfect place to explore the leafy woodlands of Devon.

"Our Otter Falls review: Lovely cottage, nice views and loved the hot tub."
Clair - Jul 2022
"Had a wonderful few relaxing days at Otter Falls, the park was beautiful and ideal for getting right away from it all being so tucked away in the Devon countryside. The lodge was spotless and comfortable and the food from the Tickled Trout was perfection. So glad we found this hideaway and will be back again."
Jacqui - Jul 2022
"Fantastic place . So much thought put into things a dog owners dream . Lots to do and great surroundings . Highly recommended ."
Becky - Jul 2022
"The venue and surroundings were beautiful, the Hayward was perfect for our family and had everything we needed and very clean and well presented. For fishermen/ women it’s perfect but you do need to have a car to get around. An easy drive to the cost for stunning beaches and for dogs. The local pub does great food and really helpful. It is remote so make sure you have all the shopping you need, but with a dog shower, and stuck library it’s great. Hot tub was fantastic and although the pool was dated it was clean. We will definitely be going back. Thankyou to all the staff"
Elizabeth - Jul 2022
"My mum and I absolutely love Otter Falls resort. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We only marked Facilities a 9 as the pool is very tired and needs some work. Also our sofa wasn't very comfortable to sit on - the other chairs made up for that. Our cottage was lovely and clean, a great size for a couple. We love the views from the terrace and we love, love, love the jacuzzi. This was our second year at the same cottage and we are already thinking we would stay again next year. Just recommended the cottages to my friend as she also had dogs and I think it would be great for her and her sister."
Gemma - Jul 2022
